Because there's a pretty good reason for it?

If it did autoban instantly, hack developers would be able to test it continuously until they find a solution. Now they can only do one attempt at making it bypass every time I do a banwave. And they won't be able to know what time they triggered it, which if they did, would help them fix it even faster.

If it is only 40% right, then why is only 1.25% of the server got banned? Apparently, even if you are one of those then you should probably be really (un)lucky!

335 764 unique players have joined the server between banwave 16 and 17, ~4200 people got banned in banwave 17.

Apparently 40% of 335k is 4200! But it really should have banned 32 times as many players! /s
