How about this, we inspire people to advertise our server in other servers, they just have to take a picture of them saying our server's name or IP a couple of times and they get the rank, now the rank's perk is basiclly up to u, so comment below if u wanna make the perks

Well, we all know that youtubers attract more people, especiallyif they're popular like SkyDoesMinecraft, now what if we bribe people to making youtube videos about how great our server is and they get a rank (eventually), same like Advertiser rank, u guys decide the perks in the comment

[Youtuber] needs at least 20k subs ... which is, atm, impossible for gc to have a member like that.

[Advertiser] ... if you go around servers and advertise, the other servers will sue us for advertising GC, etc.

I can tell you that aXed will never add Advertiser rank.

 

The adviser rank is like asking for a ban on other servers.......Dont see why you would do that

 

You're basically asking to get your ass banned on whatever server you're advertising on

 

Well, u can do it in a server u hate or a server that u dun play in anymore, and it's compeletely up to u aswell to advertise or not xD it benefits us both ways

 

Not wise. While it's good to advertise and get more players on GC, the means through which it is conducted will also have impact on GC's reputation as well. By INTENTIONALLY designating advertisers to publicize on other servers, others will be left with a really bad impression of GC. Would you want GC to be known as a server which gives players perks for advertising GC on other servers? I'm sure this is not the kind of image we want of GC, so no =)

Like everyone else said the Advertising Rank is complete waste. It makes a bad image of GC. You basically want people to get banned on other servers just so that GC can get a few 2-3 members by Cheating?

The Youtuber Rank exists but no-ones ever reached that mark I assume. A 20k Youtuber would most probably not come to a cracked server So its a Solid No from me

well, i guess i could agree with u about the advertiser rank, but y remove the youtube rank?

 

There's no point in putting a YouTube rank because most players in gc haven't even reach the 20k mark or at least 1k. Most of their subs come strictly from the gc community so rarely someone outside will get attracted to view their content. I find making YouTube ranks useless because it will only benefit very little to both sides.

 

I say no to advertiser I don't think we are allowed to advertise any other server and also it's useless it's pointless. Same for Youtube like what bribing nah we ain't doing that.

It's maybe a good idea, because most people like a rank and that will make them start recording. When they start to record GC gets more people playing but I think GC got enough people playing. It's my opinion but I understand why. I also don't know which perks an Advertiser or Youtuber should get, because they aren't better than normal members .

These "ideas" are just crazy.

Reasons are already given.

 

aXed will never put Advertiser Rank. Why did aXed put GuildCraft in vote sites? Because voting will let the score of GuildCraft be high in voting sites. It means many people will join the server because it has many votes and it means the server is good. That's why our community doesn't need an advertiser.

But the youtuber thing is ok .
