Name of offender: minion325 Name of offense: He muted me for spamming where I was'nt spamming. Spamming means sending the same message over and over again to some point where it irritates other people. Similarly, Countdown spam means spamming numbers that it floods the chat of other people.. I think I'm correct so far. But minion325 muted me for countdown spam even when i was typing the numbers so slowly (slow enough that it doesnt look like spam or does'nt hurt anyone's chat).. I got screenshots as proof. Server: Prison Date and Time: 24th March 2016 Around 4:00 PM Indian Standard Time Evidence: I am posting screenshots that show that I was'nt spamming. @Honey @TeamTLV23 Hence, I think this mute is unjust.
First off. Spamming isn't necessarily sending messages until it irritates someone. It is sending similar messages over a short period of time. Countdown spam is the same, but just replace the numbers with a sentence, it would have been considered as spam because it was done in a short space of time. Similarly, the message was considered as spam because you were counting down and it was done in a short space of time.
The time is'nt short.. You can see. I was giving enough space between the messages.. If I was spamming I would've got a warning by the server spam plugin. But as you can see in the screenshots I did'nt. I was counting down but it was'nt spam. Thats my point
See the screenshots guys. See the space between the messages that I was giving. Is typing like that considered spam -.-
Countdowns are muteable in any case whether you leave 5 seconds in between or not, and to add another thing.. since we cannot see how much time is actually in between we cant know maybe everyone was typing a lot of messages in chat and the chat went up very fast so i dont think the mute was unjust
