I would like to make a few suggestions regarding semi-vanilla. firstly, in lieu of the nether being currently broken... could you fine people please add quartz and blaze rods to the /shop. as of current players basically cannot brew potions(as blaze rods are a requirement to all things brewing related in mc 1.9) also quartz is a somewhat necessary component for comparitors, and the use of comparitors in redstone is 100% needed for higher end redstone builds. without comparitors, players are left to substitute their functionality(if even possible) with bulkier and more lag intensive options. I feel it would be a good practice to offer items players cannot otherwise obtain by themselves due to bugs; in /shop. secondly, now that global chest shop has been updated(as recently as yesterday), could you fine people please re-install it. it is my understanding that many of the previous issues that were causing consistent crashes have been patched in their most recent critical update. https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/globalchestshop-¸-•-•-¸-gui-shop-auction-house.6145/updates thirdly, if at all possible could we please have basic chest shops back? fourthly, could you guys please install a player warp plugin. since we no longer have a spawn plot area in semi-vanilla; and no word if we are going to get one eventually; It would be very nice if we could setup our own towns, cities, and shops(providing we get a basic chest shop plugin) and have a simple player warp plugin so our lands are easily reachable. something like this would be a cheap and cool option: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/...st-warp-plugin-mc-1-9-1-8-x-►►►.17184/updates Eitherway, thank you for taking the time to read this.
I think thats more of an issue with the current worldguard plugin(I assume they use wg), probably will have to wait for plugin updates.
Well said I think GC should have hung off of 1.9 for a few updates the extra time always helps filter out bugs and give you more variety of plugins
I agree with #1 , due to the fact we got no access to the nether . But however , #2 & #3 are redundant . #2 = theres already /ah and /shop . #3 = Player warps are mostly a hazard for new comers . Since PvP is enabled Imagine a guy came out of nowhere , PvPing the victim who placed the [Welcome] Sign or rather hurting the player . So if the PvPer has a Prot IV set or sort , the victim wont able to remove the sign due to the fact the PvPer is camping outside the house . Basically the sign is outside , in a " town spawn "
yeah /ah kinda sucks /gcs is way way way better. and as for player warps technically most of semi is a hazard already, if you dont know where your going to end up you probably shouldent try go there. that being said having a player warp plugin would be pretty awesome, regardless if people can use it to setup traps, its not like we cant tp trap people already.
atm we basically dont have any methods of setting up player shops, /shop and /ah are really no substitute for chest shops and global chest shop. as is with the current system its not even worth the time and effort to participate in the economy.(/ah is just a bad plugin for semi) there is a great amount of disparity between a few people at the top, and everybody else at the bottom.
I totally disagree i find /ah way better then /gcs it is alot more clearly easier to use. Overall much better in my opinion.
there is also the issue where we can only sell a limited amount of items in /ah. last season in semi I could have up to 15 chest shops, and 100's of slots in /gcs where I could sell a number of different items. now, the entire idea of making a super shop is all but impossible. semi now has a very limited economic potential.(and you really cannot consider it having a player based economy now, that died the moment when chest shops and /gcs disappeared) another thing we cannot do with out basic chest shops are "pay gates", thats kinda a big bummer. (might as well forget most of my best lotto designs)
