Hello to all the readers,. Today I am writing a simple but yet required ( by me ) suggestion. Ever since I joined gc I was gaining experience and decided to apply for mod. I was accepted on my third time by tenderman ( rip ) yet I wrote I was 13 in my application form. Personally I think that the age should be changed.
In my opinion, age should not matter what so ever. If the applicant knows the needed language well enough. Has enough knowledge about the plugins and etc, then why not accept him? Why does age matter? Maturity? Well maturity is not defined by age, it is defined by the person. I am writing this under my own experience. I was already a mod once ( I was 13 ) but demoted 2 days later because the public knew I'm 13. Personally, I don't see any problem. If the mod if preforming his/her job well and muting when needed and possibly answering questions ( although that's a helpers job ) why not accept ? What is the official reason for the age to be 14, and for age to be one of the most important things! I mean if the applicant has enough Minecraft experience and has good knowledge of the required stuff, why should age matter? If you agree with me then please answer yes on the question poll and reply if you have any suggestions. I will tag every admin I can because I want a lot of attention because this is a problem.

lying about your age is very mature...

If you were 13 when u applied u should have just admitted and should have found another way round it then lie about your age. You could tell the head admin like

    Hello mr admin.
I'm 13 but I think I'm fit for staff cuz blahnlashblah

Age does matter. A 10 year old doesnt have the insight of a 14 year old. Now yes there are differences in intelligence and that could play a role. But lying about your age will not make you more mature. It's the exact opposite. Just have patience.
