»World Download after Resets

So I have been thinking about this idea and I also believe that many players will agree to this. Since Survival and semi vanilla will soon be reset, it would be great if Guildcraft could make the current world to be available for download after the reset. Some people may want to keep their builds and months of hard work with them. Many people will also be curious to see other people's bases and builds. I believe this is a great idea and should be done after every reset for all servers. Btw you are free to remove any confidential things from the world before posting it.

No I don't have. But I want to have that.

Isn't the file size going to be huge?

 

Some players will just keep their work, but some others will put the maps in their servers..
so basically 99% axed will not agree..

 

Would be cool to save my builds and see what others have built.

 

That's why I said that confidential things like spawn point (build by marine) and all things that people could put in their servers can be removed but other than that, the builds by people and the whole world alone can be made available for download. We can just note down our coordinate of our homes and warps and when it is available for us then we can put it in single player and go to our coordinate.

 

Yeah file size will be huge (maybe a GB) but those who can afford to download a big file can do that.

 

Rip the people with low download speed..

 

unless you have the custom plugins that GC runs for the world. It might not load up properly plus the file would be pretty massive for a download and take up valuable bandwith.
