Even if 1.9 has been out for a week now this server, my favourite server has not yet updated. as Darwin said: "the world does not belong to the strongest, nor the smartest, but to those who adapt the best" there will allways be crybabys that take a month to build a shack and don't want a wipe, but i say sc*ew them! if we don't get 1.9 soon we will riot, goverments will fall and this server will be no more !!!:0

 

Wo is darwin ? i dont wanna adv but kohi/badlion and alot of other servers "crybabys" have been on 1.7 for more than 2 years and they didn't fall. stop saying that ppl will leave if we dont update its completly false. there is still 1.5.2 servers with over 3k player at all time. Its about content not version.

 

well, does 1.8 has shields ? no. does it have a finally good monster AI ? no, hey what about that cool enchant that allows you to be jessus ? h*ll no. and there are LOTS and LOTS of twicks and balances. it overall feels much better and it performs better too.

 

does 1.9 have good pvp ... NOOOOOOOOOO

GC has survived almost 4 years of shit, an update won't take us down lol

1.9 doesn't have good pvp ? HA HA HA that's the thing, it finally has good pvp. no more op God apples, no more fights taking 5 mins, no more op enchants and potions. it seems way more balanced than 1.8. and the fact that everything has an attack speed, swords have different attacks, more types of arrows...

if u have a wood sword and leather armor and u jitter click u dont do any damage , 1.9 pvp is shit , it takes like a min for a fight to end , but in 1.8 it takes 15 seconds or 10 , u need to time ur click , worst thing in my entire MC years that even happend even minecraft beta 1.3.2 is better than 1.9 , ur just a dump arse , or a big noob that plays on 30 fov , and if u say that u dont play in that fov , i will kill my self , how the f are u even here , u cant pvp , nor u just a new noob that has no clue how minecraft works
shields , i like them but they make u unkillable from bows / mobs , more arrows half of them are baaad , who needs regen 2 arrows , to give ur enemy a bigger chance of winning the fight -_- , and i bet that u dont have a clue how to play MC u just play singleplayer trying to kill a zombie from eating u and u play multiplayer , 0.11 % of time , and u try to kill full diamonds wth OP enchants , when ur full leather , enchants and potions didnt change at all --_--

 

add 1.9, but add the plug in that will allow 1.8 pvp mechanics <---

Actually, Sharpness and Protection have been nerfed in 1.9. Instead of having extra 1.25 damage per Sharpness level in 1.8 downward, you only get 1 extra damage from the first level and 0.5 more damage from additional levels. His point of view 'no more op enchants and potions' is actually correct.

 

ok i knew that but the point is that , sharpness got nerfed , armors got too , so sharpness with nerf 1+ damage ( 0.5 hearts ) armors got nerfed too m so they both got nerfed , means it almost the same but u take more damage -_- with a shield on impossible to kill = done , 1.8 better

 

I believe there are already plugins which disable the sword cool-down and other aspects that are unfavorable in 1.9, in effect, there really isn't much to be worried about with a version update.

 

First of all i'll let you know that i play minecraft before this god damn server existed or you evern knew what minecraft is. i've been playing it since it came out on DAY 1. i watched it grow from only an interesting indie game that nobody heard about into this magical and huge game is had become today. i have forgotten more playthroughs that you ever played, i dominated more faction servers that you'll ever play on and built more than you will EVER build on this game.
Second of all try using the english language in a correct manner and easy with the accusations.
Third of all you make such big claims and yet you do notback them up. i've took countless public speaking courses and if there is one thing i learnt is that you allways have to STRONGLY back up your claims. the arrows add a nice dynamic to the game and believe me, just because you cannot find a good use for a type of arrow that doesn't mean there isn't one...god, you sound just like a religious extremists that claims stuff left and right and yet has the logic and mind of a 5 year old. oh, and trust me, it doesn't take for a minute for a fight to end. if that's how much YOU need then that is your problem. shields added a more defensive way of fighting. it's no longer just smashing your mouse like an idiot in hope to land more hits on him, even if you had to time your attacks it still felt a bit...unfinished, or better say outdatet. they added attack speed to all of the weapons/tools which really segments things in a nice and clear way, axes deal more damage from above, for example which is a nice feature and allows some viking roleplays. a lot of stuff are the way they should have been from the beginning .
I get that you're probably some kid that wants to prove he's better or smth..you've probably let somebody else push you around and now that you are on the internet you can just bash and flame whoever has a different opinion and prove that you are "superior" just to feed your shallow self ego and at the end of the day you'll go to bed thinking that you're such a good minecraft player and you sure proved that guy how stupid he is. ...it's sad really...i feel sorry for you buddy

 

why remove them ?

 

because human nature, when there's change, people initially reject because they're already used to a certain way of doing things. Also, I'm not the developer of the plugins so perhaps your question should be directed elsewhere.

 

What's a minecraft veteran like you doing on a cracked server :3 surely you must be one of the haters of cracked.
