There is no 5 sec cool down. It's like 1 sec for diamond sword. 5 sec is for hoe or axe (check it in wiki). And it is more practical ( like real life) u don't just spam swing ur sword. U need to hit at good time.

If you are ok with that then lets say that you do idk 10 1v1s.

Then each fight is approximately 6 min
If you dont know math 10x6=84
(jk its an hour)
So one hour = ten fights
If you do quick math
60x60 is 3600 seconds

A whopping 3600 seconds out of your day
Compared to 1.8 fights
Normal 1.7/1.8 fights are approx 2 minutes(potion pvp with equally skilled players)

Now lets say you have 10 fights again in 1.8
10x2=20(in case you dont know math) and 20x60 is 1200 seconds

3600-1200 seconds is 2400 seconds(obviously bruh)
2400/60 is 40 minutes

So ten 1.9 fights compared to ten 1.8 fights have a difference of 40 minutes
40 minutes could be spent playing factions e.t.c
So lets think about this and stop being stubborn
1.8 fights are way more efficient than 1.9

I bet that the only well known people moving to 1.9 would be redstoners and people who stay on their PC all day.

Okay I got it. But TBH I have never played kit pvp / pot pvp or any pvp.

I play Survival , factions ,prison ,UHC , Mini games , Hunger games , Anni. I hate all pvps becoz of the fact that it requires no skill (It's my point if view). I'm basically into building stuff. Minecraft was not made for PvP. I hope one day Satan will summon all the PvPers and put them in my mob grinders

And plus how are you ok with 6 minute fights if you hate pvp?

That is like saying i never ate a sandwich but i like how they taste

In fact survival factions UHC sg and annihalation all have to do with pvp.

Otherwise if you dont pvp i am guessing you have never killed a single sg, uhc, annihalation, factions, survival,or any player at all.


You basically said that what you do recquires no skill whatsoever.

Honestly even building stuff or whatever you say you do is pretty much pvp

Pvp is full of skill building takes no skill its just placing blocks LOL

OK sorry for the mistake. Forgive me for the sin I did. I'm just trying to say that I hate pot pvp and kit pvp and pvp involving pointless killing. UHC / Anni / Hunger games are more than killing and they are just awesome.

 

One more reason I hate spam clicking is becoz I play on laptop with touchpad and its impossible to jitter click.

 

Building is so ez ? U can probably make a house with just some chests and a crafting Bence and u call it building? Why don't u try making automatic sorting system / automatic tree cutting farms / 8 bit computer / redstone stuff
