Hi, there's a DIY solution to stop the notifications. Mouse over your username found at the top right corner of the forum. A panel appears, with the option to click on "privacy". Click on it and in the next screen, un-check the check-box with "Receive site mailings" written beside it. For reference, a similar question was posed and answered in this thread:
