Hello everyone,

I'm making this announcement finally after many months I've been waiting to make it.
Few days ago, the former owner, aXed, finally replied to my contact attempts, and finally transferred
the rest of the things I needed in order to truly become full owner of GuildCraft.

Before I continue, I would like to take this opportunity to thank aXed, for everything he has done on this wonderful network.
He worked long and hard on it, for years, to make the best possible content and make the community grow. He made a new standard in Minecraft servers, and that's something not a lot of people can do. Yes, at some point he lost interest and everything started going downhill, but before that, GuildCraft became
an amazing place to play, to find friends, even relationships, and for quite some people, also a place to call home.

Thank you aXed, for everything. I will do my very best to keep it up and maintain the standard you created for Minecraft servers.

I would also like to thank a few more people, that without them I wouldn't have survived this long journey up until now:

3DGx - my close friend and loyal advisor, without your support I would've never managed to go through everything, you've been there for me, and I adore you for that. as soon as corona is over, I'm coming for a visit. thank you.

NickyfromNL - My sister, always there to support me and help me in tough times, I appreciate you more than you think and I love you very much, you're the best 3rd sister I could ask for. Thank you.

WitheredToast - Mr HeadDeveloper, That take ages to work on anni 4.0, I appreciate everything you've done for gc and for all the help you give me when I randomly shout 'HOW TO FIX THAT OMG', thank you.

Aevox - My bigass manager, I know you and I __often__ fight a lot and have some awesome drama, but you don't have the slightest clue on how much I love you like a brother and how much I appreciate what you've done for GC and for me, even if it doesn't seem like it. Thank you.

tpg01 - As soon as corona is over, I'm booking a flight to the Netherlands to finally meet you, I wanna thank you in person for everything you've done for me and helped me with. I told you few days ago how much I trust you, and I meant it, thank you.

Rew - I was super suspicious when you wanted to come back, but decided to give it a try, and hell I was lucky to do that. You were there for me many times, and you proved yourself more times than I can count. You truly want the best for GC and I can see that, and you are truly someone I can talk to when I need a to spill my thoughts out, thank you.

I would also like to thank the entire staff team, for doing their job to the fullest, and devoting their personal free time to make our network a better place, thank you!

And now after all the emotional shit is done, let's continue -
Starting today, we are entering a new era for the GuildCraft network, an era of new things, new style, in combination of the old and familiar things you're all used to and like.

What we have in store? Here is a little glimpse of what's coming:

• Annihilation 4.0: The new complete recode of the most beloved minigame on GuildCraft, with new features, new kits and MANY bug fixes! I also think it's time to tell everyone who plays Annihilation: the new update will be based on Minecraft 1.12! We have thought a long time about this, and came to a decision to switch to 1.12 as it will allow us to make better and more stable content. Don't worry, the PvP will still be purely 1.8, with proper hit detection!
Our BETA Testing Program will also commence soon, and applicants will start getting answers starting next week! If you haven't applied, go apply now, the application form will be closed next weekend!

• EggWars: As you might have guessed already, the winning gamemode of the survey we made recently was EggWars. We are going to commence the work on the gamemode to bring it back to GuildCraft, in a much better and more stable version. Stay tuned for more information soon!

• Factions: Factions will be back as well, with better mechanics, new features, and of course everyone will have their ranks back when it's out! Hardcore Factions will follow soon after!

• Minigames: We have started working on a huge minigames server, unlike anything you've seen before on GuildCraft. Stay tuned for more information soon!

• New forums: Our forums will go offline starting tomorrow in order for us to update and upgrade everything in it, including a whole new style and new systems.

• Total rebranding: Now that are entering a new era for GuildCraft, we are going to initiate a full total rebrand process of our network! That includes new logo, new icon, new forum style, new hub, and new discord arrangements. Stay tuned, it's coming really soon!

Before I end this announcement, I would also like to massively thank you, our community, for sticking to our network for so long, and for the continuous support you give us. Without you, we would've never gotten to this point, and with you, I know we will reach new heights, together. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
