Hello, I got muted for 3 days recently. And this was a surprise for me because I have never seen a reason like "death wish" in any platform. I was simply trolling in my perspective, and after I saw the log, the guy directly replied in global "death threat lol".

I mean, I was simply trolling. Who cares about a newbie especially like this? Anyway. If there was a place better than an in game warp, I'd get informed about this and stop myself.

So, I suggest you guys to make a chat rules page on the website. Directly you can copy the texts on warp rules. Warp rules is really much harder to read. Pure text is way better.

By the way, things like death wish, even not really a wish, only some words about this, why do you guys react so hard? People may use these words as the other bad ones and if they understand that this is not a threat, why do only the staff care? The guy laughed at me like "busted!".
I mean, this is a bad thing but I felt like I really killed him. Why do you guys care about this so much? I think you should add some interpretation about cases. It was for example obvious I didn't exactly want him to die. Did you have an experience about this? Is this the main reason?

Sorry for long post. But I am so broken to this server. I spent my years here, played for at least a month in a year, and had so much fun. 3d of mute just made me think about leaving the server sometimes.
I'm not looking for an early unmute, It's finishing in a little time.

    Hey @xxxBoraniuMxxx,
If you're asking for a link for the in-game rules on the website, well here you go; https://www.guildcraft.org/threads/server-rules.25/

    You can also access more detailed rules in-game by typing "/chatrules" - this will come up like this;

Regarding the 'death threat' you did, we have no idea if the context is meant to be in a 'jokey' or 'serious' matter as typing cannot always show the true meaning unlike spoken words. The chat is global, so it can be said anywhere in any matter. Suicide is still a big issue in the world we live in and we do not know how our words affect people behind a screen on the other side of the world. Our actions are our responsibilities and you never know how you can harm someone when you tell them to 'kys', share a picture for a 'laugh' etc. That's one of the main reasons why we tend to mute for it.

Alongside that, last year we sadly lost one of our Head-Admin's due to suicide. He'll forever be remembered by all of the community.

Hopefully this helps you understand why we mute for it - if you have any further questions feel free to reply to this thread (i'll leave it unlocked) or message me on Forums or Discord - xephanez#0290

Chat Trolling is a mute also (idk what u said it would depend on the context)
It doesn't matter if they're a noob or no one cares about them, it's still a mute lol just saying, theres little kids that play here and it's a bad influence for them
Also if you're thinking about leaving over a mute then just reconsider your actions

inb4 some1 says im trying 2 get staff back

Yes, I know trolling is a reason. but it was 3 huge days. Anyway. I just wanted to suggest this.
I read this before opening this thread but I mean, I would like to see a "chat rules" page. We shall be able to see the law book you gave to admins. I asked about this mute to the admin muted me, he wrote a sentence from a place about the topic. It'd be good to see that text completely.

I think you're trying to reference the GuildCraft Guidelines the staff use regarding mutes and bans as a reference, mainly used for the lengths of each punishment.
This is private to staff so I have no authority to allow you to view or see it, but I can assure you the explanation regarding your mute for Death Threats / Suicidal Encouragement is the same definition as stated in the Server Rules Thread alongside in-game when you do '/chatrules'.

If you have any further questions feel free to reply to this thread (i'll leave it unlocked) or message me on Forums or Discord - xephanez#0290
