»Anticheat and Bans

Hello everyone.
I want to say something about the hackers in this server and some changes that have to be done in the punishmens given by the Anticheat.

To start with, I have hacked in this server before with some alts (now im regretting) and now I am grinding ELO legitly every day. I face so many hackers draining me though. I have 1560 now and its pretty annoying the fact that I win someone and I get 5 ELO and then comes a hacker and drains me 22 at least. Today for example I played 2 times with FsgaP and he drained me 45 ELO. Now... What I was thinking is a change in the punishment system.

I believe that If someone gets caught for hacking in the network, the IP has to get banned and not just the IGN.
I am not saying that the IP is going to get Permanent banned but at least a 40 day ban for disencouraging the cheater.

Moreover, there are hackers of course that the GCheat isnt able to detect. For this reason I believe that there should be an Admin online every 1-2 hours who is going to spectate evry match played for the next 15 minutes and mute every toxic player. The truth is that I have been muted a lot of times by AndrewtherealGR who is the best admin I have seen in a server so far. But of course he isnt able to get all the cheaters.

These were my ideas. I am going to start posting some threats with ideas I had 1 year ago (when GC was my favorite server). I hope that when I reach 30 posts I will be able to appeal for Admin.

You make some legit points in this statement, so props to you. I have some points to make regarding some of the things you've said. @everyone, Please no hate, this is just my response to this.

Regarding this, when we ban a hacker, we ban the IGN and the IP associated with it. Players tend to use a VPN for protection measures so they are able to return sadly. We do not have any measures at this current moment in time regarding this, so we encourage to use /helpop and reporting on the forums to help us catch them quickly and efficiently.

Big up Andrew. Admins aren't always able to come online for every hour, its inhumane and robotic. We have staff members around the world globally, resulting in different timezone and different activities regarding IRL. If you do see a hacker, please record them and use /helpop and don't accuse them in the chat - this would encourage the hacker to turn his hacks off and make it harder to be caught. Thus would result in a mute as you've encouraged that.
I'm an Admin on EggWars, and to the active players I see daily, I just remind them to tag me on Discord within the EggWars Discord and use /h and because I have no life I'm mainly there as soon as I can be unless I'm doing something which involves me having to leave my computer. This is just what I do though, this may differ from other Admins.

Nevertheless, I wish you good luck with your future application, you have to apply for Mod first before Admin. Just don't post farm

I agree with you, so many hackers on every day and I use /h but the next day I still see them on the server hacking.Please somehow fix this hacker issue.

 

yes but how often do u meet people with a Vpn? and also even if someone has such a thing... isnt this something that is going to prevent a lot of other cheaters?

You hacked here before, and now you complain? You're a hypocrite.

This is the most stupid thing I've ever read. You're applying for mod, yet you have several banned alt accounts. The admins who replies doesn't notice and wish you good luck. What is going on?

Theres several reasons why you shouldn't get staff:

• You're avoiding a ban (should be banned)
• Your English is horrible.
• I bet you're 13.

 

We have a head admin ban evading and its allowed since "he changed".

Whats wrong with having a ban evading mod?

I say good luck to everything (application, ban requests etc.) it's just a nice manner. No point always being negative. I do agree with you though I did not want to say it in the thread because I wanted to reply based upon the anti-cheat and activity of admins.

first of all... I have hacked only for one week and I got banned with only one account and then I stopped because I understood that hacks are useless. What is the point of playing the game if you dont aim/strafe and in general doing something?
I am not 12. Now I am 15 and I understand how this game works. I dont even really care about being admin to tell you the truth... so sorry if I am someone who deserves that much of hate. (bad english again..)

Stop speaking. You hacked and got banned, and therefore shouldn't be allowed to play here anymore, well atleast according to the rules. I hope an admin takes action here. "Understanding that hacks are useless" doesnt make you innocent. Idiot.

Im currently away on vacation so no access to the game itself, but as I saw above he did get banned for it and the ban expired.

 

Ban evading is no longer a permanent ban? That's noted...
