»Is there any point in reporting hackers?

    If we report hackers, do we get compensated for the loss of gear from being killed by a hacker during pvp?

    Sadly not, but you get to remove a hacker which decreases the amount of people getting killed by that hacker (including you) later on. It's a nice act for the community :)

    Keep reporting and try to record him then escape! That way it's a win-win situation.

    I highly recommend a lastinv plugin, every HCF server has it if you die due to a phaser or something, you do /lastinv [Name] and you get their last inv and you can do /invsee [Name] and give their items to them.

    Anyways, you do not get your stuff back.

    I think you can have your gear returned whether while you're recording to show the stuff that you had
    But anyways the banned player has his inventory cleared.

    So there is really no point in reporting them. This server is genuinely dying and the rise of hackers on the pvp servers doesn't help.

    Your stuff does not get returned to you.
    Admins have banned hackers who killed me (and got my stuff), and I asked them the same question, and their response was a big "no".

    Yes, this sucks.
