TheSarge2013 came on the server, payed many people BILLIONS and gave out IG spawners. Lucky me to be on the exact timing these stuff happen. I remember back in the day 2012/2013 GC was hacked and we had a reroll.
It will likely roll back but this is speculation on my part. There is no official news or details regarding what happened.
Factions is a lobby on a Minecraft network known as Guildcraft. You can't "hack" a lobby or plugin dude... the worst you can do to factions is exploit a bug or crash it with too many entities or blow up spawn
