Not gonna be basic and tag the idiots that made GC worth standing for the past couple months. Fact of the matter is that Annihilation as well as all gamemodes (except Factions for obvious reasons) are dead. Being, as I feel "grounded" from enjoying the staff life on any other gamemode, I am taking a leave of absence until something happens that brings GC back (there is a lot that needs to). Trying not to be one to abandon ship but all my attempts to help have been shot down by higher staff. But I'd like to thank those who have stuck by the staff team and me specifically. - Chad
Aw. So sad to see such a great staff member leave ;-; You were such a great person to have a conversation with and I absolutely love how you stand up for what you believe in with such passion. Don't change that. You have done so much for this server so thank you ^.^ Goodluck with everything in your life -Mauri
This is really unfair to say, I know, and I'm 100% sure, that all H-A are working their asses off to make the server better. Melon333 Is constantly reading suggestions and trying to make factions better, is always responsive and likes to help you out when you're in need of help. UchihaSamy - Made Skyblock one of the most played gamemodes on guildcraft, hosted events, is friendly and responsive, and always looking to help out. parle - an Active cool guy who's always there for the players, he's active on all servers and is always doing something productive. illlex - Active in game and on the forums, responsive, helpful... xph11 - Has done a lot for guildcraft while he was a manager, even tho we disagree on some things, I respect the guy for the work he has done. Quinten - Working on making the minigame server alive again, active on the froums... Rabascm - Made the website look better than ever, is always active in every gamemode and is responsive when someone is in need of help (especially on discord), a great guy in general... The main problem is, they don't own the server, so they cannot change everything, nor do they have access to everything. All staff are working to make guildcraft better, some more, some less. As I've stated, saying GC is dead, wont help the server, but making suggestions/tutorials might, example: https://www.guildcraft.org/threads/suggestions-to-improve-guildcraft.61925/ https://www.guildcraft.org/threads/tutorial-practicepvp.62074/ https://www.guildcraft.org/threads/part-ii-suggestions-to-improve-guildcraft.62280/ https://www.guildcraft.org/threads/part-iii-suggestions-to-improve-guildcraft.62498/ I don't think you're helping players a lot if you're communicating with them with this kind of attitude/language. Anyways, good luck in life, but I don't believe saying "gc's dead" on your farewell post is useful to the community, Vojkea out.
1 screenshot of me saying slightly rude doesn't define me. I'm sorry that you're right. I'm sorry that I may have rubbed you the wrong way. But I have supported GC the most I can. This server was the first I ever joined as a cracked member with 8 fps. Now here I am 4 years later with every rank I could possibly dream of and the support of the best staff I have ever had the honor of being on a team with and you can only pick and choose something I say that is negative. This is MY farewell post. And I'll die before I let someone tell me what I CAN and CANNOT post especially when it's MY opinion. Comments are appreciated as it helps me for my public opinions so that in the future they won't harm anyones feelings. But not this one. People need to know GC is dying even if it is from me so that some serious actions can be taken and so people like @MasterTeo or @kuba1616 aren't lost. - As always, thanks for commenting. --- Double Post Merged, Aug 6, 2017, Original Post Date: Aug 6, 2017 --- Bae. You were literally my first friend after I came back from my 2 year ban. I owe everything to you Iva. I'll miss you the most <3
I haven't said what you can or cannot post, I just said it might be unfair to high staff members. They work their ass off for the players and then they come on the forums and see people trashing them. I just said I don't believe this should be said publicly, which is my opinion as well, stop trying to tell everyone I've said things that I've never written. I could've digged out more stuff, trust me, but this is a farewell post, and I do not hate you, I'm just stating that you haven't always "worked your ass off". Now, to say something I think everyone needs to know: You're thinking guildcraft is dying, because you're no longer having fun playing it. It's like in every game, for example, let's say league of legends, I've played that game for 4 years. I've quit several times stating how it isn't fun anymore and that it's getting boring, but after some time passed, I came back to it. You're just saying it's dead because you cannot accept that you're just bored of playing. GC isn't dead, it's far from dead, trust me, 800 players isn't a small number. A lot of famous servers don't even have anything near that amount of players. For example, Valux, the server is brilliantly developed, looks awesome, but yet, it has only 500-600players. I agree, High staff need to implement new stuff more frequently, but GC isn't dead, you need to accept that. Just because you're leaving, that doesn't mean GC will instantly die. The world doesn't revolve around you or me, if 1 player thinks guildcraft is boring, that doesn't mean everyone does. It seems that a lot of players still believe guildcraft is fun, and they enjoy spending their time here. If you're leaving, then I wish you good luck in life, but IMO making a farewell post like this, won't make a lot of people appreciate your work as a staff member. I mean, and ex-staff member trash talking current high staff, and then you guys are surprised when someone disrespects you. I've been staff on gc before (8 months ago), I've been staff on 4 different gamemodes, one day I snapped, and started trash talking high staff and reporting them for their mistakes. Now, now after 8 months, I see my wrong doings, even tho, In my opinion, and in the opinions of many others, I was correct in a way, I shouldn't have been so toxic. You know why? because it doesn't help the SERVER. My goal, from the moment I joined this magnificent place, was to help out the server as much as I can, and repay the server back for all of the fun I've had on it. Now, after so much experience on guildcraft, I know the way I should talk to the community and which road is the right road to follow. Toxicity/Useless criticism is never the solution. As I've said before, and as I will say now. Before trying to change others, change yourself, and you will be surprised by how much better things will be, Vojkea out.
