Hello everybody! This is my (first ever) guide on how to improve your skills on Skyblock and targets beginners to intermediate players. There may be different ways to get rich or to the top of the list, however I will concentrate on one way to success. Any suggestions are welcome! Getting Started Create an island To create your island use the command /is , a window will popup giving you the option. Build a safe place Congratulations! You have successfully created your island and now it's time for you to get bigger! First of all, you should remove the top 2 layers of Dirt blocks beneath you and leave the 3rd so you can stand on. Place some Dirt to expand the third layer and make some space for the upcoming constructions. Chop down the tree and make sure you get all the Sapplings! Make a Crafting table and a Pickaxe. Replant a Sappling. Gather resources Make a Cobblestone generator(shown in the pictures below) and start gathering as much cobble as possible. (Down: Place the Ice on the left and brake it so the water can flow. Then lava on the right. Lapis and Redstone blocks are used just for demonstration purposes. Up: Final result! The brown blocks can be replaced with any solid non-flamable block) Expand your island with Cobblestone slabs (we use slabs for economy) , sell two stacks of cobble to /warp shop and buy a water bucket. Go back to your island using /is h and make an infinite water source as shown below. (put water in 2 opossing corners) Make a farm with the crops and feed yourself. Gather more cobble and wood. Expand and repeate step 5. Get XP and Mob Drops Next step after you've gathered a lot of materials and have plenty of food so you don't starve to death, is making a Mob Farm as shown in the following tutorial. (Adjust the hight of the farm so mobs don't die completely and finish them off yourself getting the XP and Drops.) Beginner TIP: Use water stream to get to lower levels and expand horizontally too! Time to get rich Challenges Use command /c . A "challenges" window will appear, showing you everything you need to know, about rewards you'll get for things you achieve or items you gather. Click every achievement you have finished till now. Sell stuff An easy way to get money is selling stuff on the server's shop. A great item to sell is Spuce wood planks. Make a 2x2 spruce tree and chop chop chop...! Use the auctions to buy or sell your stuff with the command /auc [quantity] [price] [bid increament] to sell and /bid [value] to buy. Also, selling and buying stuff from other players' shops is a choice. Use command /is w [name] to get to any player's island and check if they have a shop available. Finally, you can make a shop yourself to sell or buy items, placing chests with a sign on top, as shown below. To enable your shop use /is w sethome on the block you want other players to spawn when they visit you. (Up: Sign when you sell the item. Down: Sign when you sell and buy the item. 1st row - Owner 2nd row - Quantity 3rd row - Price 4th row - Item name) Vote Last but not least, use /vote to see a list of sites you can visit to support the server and get awesome rewards! Each vote grants you an additional 3 votecoins which can be used to buy valuable items in the /voteshop . Intermediate TIP: Use /is top [page number] to check for top players' shops and adjust your prices to become customers' favorite! Is top Making it this far means you are worth being in the top of the list of Guildcraft Skyblock and its time we learn how. Challenges Complete every challenge available. They increase your score and help you get to the top quickly. Many rewards of one challenge may help you finish another, so choose wisely which tasks you accomplish first. Valuable Blocks The only way to rank up is placing blocks with high value on your island. The best one being Diamond Block raising your IS level by 4! Diamonds are a bit pricey, but assuming you followed this guide thoroughly you are not going to find any obstacle in achieving this goal! Pro TIP: Transform 2 Zombie Villagers or buy 2 Villagers and breed them. Make an Iron Golem farm and use the Iron Blocks to improve your island level by level (or sell them making tons of $$$) Thanks for Reading!
I'm not much of a skyblock player, so this tutorial has explained quite a few things that I needed to know. Great job and the extra pictures/video to display some of the examples is a plus for new players to minecraft.
In Minecraft, these are the required materials to cure a zombie villager: Items you will need: 1 Golden Apple Zombie Villager 1 Splash Potion of Weakness (1:30/1:07) use the splash potion on the zombie folllowed by right clicking the zombie with a golden apple not the enchanted god apple
