»How to make a proper unban request!

Hello everyone!
Today I'd to show you how to make
a proper unban request if you get banned.

First of, you have to make your unban request in the proper
section. https://www.guildcraft.org/forums/unban-unmute-requests.16/

To make an unban request, you'll also have to use the format which will be shown below:

Your IGN (In-Game-Name):
By who you're banned/muted:
Reason for your ban/mute:
On what server were you banned/muted:
Why you think it's wrong or right:



Explanation:​

Your IGN (In-Game-Name): You have to write your username that you use to play on Guildcraft/this server.

By who you're banned/muted: You have to write the username of the person who banned/muted you.
If you got banned by the autoban, fill in with "Autoban". Also, you can easily check out who punished you
in the Kick-message text.

Reason for your ban/mute: You have to write the reason for what you've been banned/muted for. Again ,
you can check that at the Kick-message.

On what server were you banned/muted: You've to write the server you've been banned on. If you were banned for example on Factions, then write Factions.

Why you think it's wrong or right: This is very important when making a request. You have to write what you've done and if you think the punishment was right or wrong. For example: "I think the ban was wrong because I didn't advertise in the public chat.."

Tips:

Don't lie: No such thing as we will permanently deny your request.

Don't be immature or rage quit: We understand your frustration about your punishment but also be sure to be as much confident as you can be, so we'll be able to give you a chance.

Don't tell your whole story on GC: We don't need sentences like "I am playing since 2015 and I have found many friends and new staff and the resets were really unfair..". We just need the sequence, where you've been punished.

Tag the staff member you've been punished: To get a quick response on your appeal, be sure to tag the staff you've been punished. There's no need to tag staff, which are not involved in your ban. If you've been banned by the AutoBan, then don't tag anyone.

Don't create multiple unban requests: You can only bump your request every 24 hours.

Don't mail staff, which are not involved in: As already stated, you shouldn't tag staff, which are not involved in your punishment. That means, tagging , for example, the owner for a minor mute is useless. Same goes for mailing.​

Don't make a screenshot of your Minecraft folder: That's useless because hackers could remove their hack clients after their ban, so this won't improve your chances for an unban.

Show chat logs if you want: If you show the chat logs, our staff members are going to see chat logs easier, since they don't have to show a screenshot by their own.

Keep your appeal up-to-date: You can bump your thread every 24 hours, so you can keep your thread in a top position.

Contact the involved staff: If tagging doesn't help you, contacting staff members on Discord will help you out as well. Our public discord server shows all staff member, which are online and offline.

Examples of statements you shouldn't use:

"It's wrong because I never hacked before"

This shouldn't be used in your request because staff members can easily check your history.

"My friends can tell you that I didn't do that"

Your friends can't be a major source of proof, since they aren't staff members unless they have visual proof.


"Your staff don't have experience"

Usually, our head-admins make good choices in choosing staff, yet sometimes mistakes could occur and bad staff could be chosen, but they're dealt with quickly so no need to worry about them.

"I'm legit, so unban me"

There's a big difference between a legit player and a hacker. We know this difference and writing
this in your request, won't help you out.

Here's a fact: If you get banned in the banwave, you probably won't get unbanned because the admins will make random excuses then will deny your request.

 

Just don't get banned at the first place, thats tip number one.

 

autoban got me for no reason and now i make a unban request I wish some admin make a move to unban or respond to my request

What makes you think that the people who are too lazy to read the unban format will go this far to find a detailed explanation?

 

This thread wasn't meant to be helpful for all players, but for some of them it can be a good detailed information for their unban request.

Lol like what you cant unban us im a Victim of autoban -_- thir is nothing admin can do about it ? I play anni like 1.5 years in Guildcraft and i think this is the first time i got ban because of that autoban.... then so unban request are useless you say ???? need reply
