Hello, dear members! I've seen lots and lots of rules breakers, some of them didn't even read the rules before playing our server. Only around 15% of the whole GC reads the rules before playing. So I have kinda an idea. When joining the server for the first time you have to click the link to the rules After that, when you are ready you say "Yes" or "No" in chat. After that, you have 10 RANDOM-GENERATED questions about the rules + English Language rule You can answer them with True or False. If you fail you get kicked for 5 minutes and have to do the period again. An example: Welcome Member, to start playing on our server you have to verify, that you read our rules (Link to rules) If you are ready to type [Yes] *Member types Yes* Question 1: You can use hacks such as Killaura and Aimbot. [True] [False] *Member types False* Question 2: You are allowed to say a swear word, once it isn't directed to anyone. [True] [False] *Member types True* That goes on, once they member finished these questions completely, after that he can /register and start playing. Benefits: - Decreases Rule-Breakers - Increases English-speaking people - Simple programming I hope you'll like this suggestion!
better suggestion : each 5 minutes 1 of the rules is displayed randomly in chat. like what server do (vote for guildcraft to get awesome rewards) it looks like -using combat hacks on this server is prohibted and can cause ban. then after like 5 minutes another rule displayed like: swearing is not allowed if it is directed to a player. and that repeates till they display the rules then they start again. rate this by "agree" if you agree .
Would be good, but it can fill up the chat frequently and old players can get annoyed of that. Maybe just for the new players. In some servers it's only displayed "Hacks are not allowed" etc.. Since these things are more important for new players, I made it at the register scene
lol sending msg like: vote for guildcraft for awesomd rewards is also boring for old players. but at least they may know the rule. btw there are many players that dont know the rules. so I think that will be helpful
Oh sorry I didn't read it correct Yes that could be good, adding both these things could be interesting
No, the type of players who play on guildcraft would be turned away by such test as they just want to play minecraft, they don't want to make some stupid test. The average 14 year old cannot be bothered with reading the rules, and thats not going to change no matter what you do.
That could happen. But many people get punished, while they didn't want to. This could decrease that amount. This test only takes about 5 mins ( Maybe 5 questions instead of 10) and could help some people , who didn't read the rules before playing.
but you have to change questions for every1 what if a Legit or nub makes a New acc and hax on the server after that makes onether kepps going on and all he has to do is just revise the answers
