I know, the title looks promising for server hate but its really not the case this time.

First of all i know i have been denied a couple of times but trust me i've got over it.
Servers such as Survival games, eggwars etc almost NEVER have staff members on(especially sg, have never seen one) which causes the game to be so chaotic( in a bad way) People just team like there's no tommorow in sg solo, they hack, crossteamers in eggwars etc. I know there are going to be a lot of players that will dissagree with me because of their own personal reasons but i just want to help out the server, and thats why i made the thread in the first place.
My suggestion is simple. Hire more staff members. Dont be so strict when it comes to staff apps.

We can't just accep the first application we see. They need to be good and most people just write 1 sentence. That's not enough

You're right, but they MUST be strict since the "staff" is the heart of server. There can be someone that is unresponsive, and do something bad. For that, they should be strict. The application will tell your personality, the way you write. Anyway, that's just my opinion. I think Gc has great staff!

Accepting more Staffs are super difficult for the H-A's.
It is not strict. The servers' H-A's are just not satisfied on what you act and what you say.

Well, some H-A's are strict. Because they want his/the servers' Staff members to be responsible, not "abusing" and good as well.

Not all staff are great... there are a few staff that actually act like a staff member, where on the other hand some staff don't care whether a person needs help and/or banning a kid on anni, or with a question(i know not all staff have the time to answer) but they must at least try! that's their job, you don't get that tag next you're name for show, it means you're part of helping the server and restricting players to several things that aren't allowed. Just saying my part and for all the players of Gc ;)who agrees?

We need to be strict on them so we know who we think would make a good staff

you need the most of these to be a good player/responsible player
    1. No scams [shows Trust/reliability]
    2. 3 months of clean history
    3. No stupid jokes in the public and will misunderstand people eg: kys xxx player <--- then say this is a joke to someone
    4. no toxic language eg: "you are a trash go dump urself" whatsoever etc
    5. Mature act, have everything of the above and think before you speak and think of the impacts of your words, Words are Power
    6. active in game: not to say having 12h of gaming isnt enough, but constant stable logins and make yourself active in chat, no one will notice you if you doesnt speak
    7. what you have that can contribute to the server: they wont just pick players with their activeness in gameplay, what you can do to the server and make it a better place is a very important point, even if you achieved the end of the game, but your abilities cant cope a staff's job
^^^ [Quote from Itsamethyst: tell me what you can offer to the server.]
    8. Motivation: very important, this will be the final thing for the Head Admin to determine if you can be a staff or not. Strong motivation will be needed.
    9. Patience: Dont bump your app, head admin will pick you if you really do have the required traits for the staff's job , or they are just busy.
    10. Connection: make friends, don't have too much haters in game, that will probably be the end result of your past acts/toxic etc. having a connection with players are important, example: head admin wanna know if this guy is hated alot or having good behavior and liked by the players. Will you pick a guy that is so much hated by the crowd?

Disclaimer: This is based on personal opinion, other might have their own opinion. These are from my past experience, might not be 100% accurate, but these are the stuffs that you can definitely check out.

    check out this too!

Adding on that we want good apps to judge professionalism to handle situations better or deal with problems clearly and/or accurately.

yea just be a awesome helpful player. Help others out like I have been doing for the past 2 and a half months. help moderators or staff online if you are familiar with different languages by private messaging the player to type in public chat english. Show staff members any bugs or flaws on the server that needs to be fixed one example is that people can get up on the pvpmine gate by the right side going in. Don't give up applying for staff just keep building your rep sheet and they will eventually accept you.

Stuff that has been previously mentioned here is complete bullshit. There's examples of players getting staff in like a week orso, how is this individual player /s supposed to mute and warn and even help the players if he/she has only played on that specific server for a week?

A recently resigned staff-friend mentioned this earlier this week, the staff team consists of randies.

And about the proper english requirment, i can give you examples of staff who has worse English than the average 10 year old, presumably because they're younger than that specific age, like many other individual staff members.
