Hello! Criticism is heavily appreciated, positive or negative, as it helps approve this class and my class-making as well, so please tell me what you think of this class in the comment section or vote in the poll above! You are the phantom. Leave your physical form and head into combat as a spirit armed with a spectral blade. As a spirit, you cannot interact with the real world, but can harm enemies freely without the risk of taking damage and be able to haunt their location afterwards, but returning to the body that you are bound to or haunting nearby an enemy nexus can be rather tiring. Spectres are normally able to harm enemy Spectre’s spirits. Class Icon Ghast Tear Class Role Rusher / Infiltrator Class Info The Spectre spawns with a set of wooden tools, a pair of special, unbreakable Sharpness I shears named the Ghostwalker (that is unbreakable as if it did break, the class would be useless, but the shears cannot destroy leaves to prevent abuse), and a ghast tear named Haunt. Right clicking while holding the Ghostwalker will activate your "Phantom Form" for 20 seconds, making your spirit leap out of your body and leave it behind for you to later return into. The items and armor stored in your inventory will be left behind with your body but the Ghostwalker will carry onto your spirit's inventory. Entering Phantom Form while having a potion effect on your character will NOT make the potion effect transfer over to your spirit, but it will stay on your body instead. As a spirit, you are unable to receive damage through normal means, passively gain Speed I and Jump Boost II, become slightly transparent (your nametag will also become invisible to enemies, but be visible to your teammates), and no longer lose hunger while performing actions. However, the lifeless body you have left behind is an easy target for enemies to kill, as your body receives twice as much damage from enemy attacks while you are in Phantom Form. Due to the nature of spirits, you cannot interact with the real world when in Phantom Form, only being able to interact with things consisting of spiritual matter, such as the Ghostwalker or other players. Other spiritual beings are able to interact with you as well, meaning that Spectres can harm other Spectre’s spirits, even without using their Ghostwalker. Once the 20 second timer has ended or if you right click the Ghostwalker again, your spirit will return to your body, letting you regain control of your body but get inflicted with Slowness I and Weakness II for 15 seconds and make the ability go on a 60 second cooldown. Your spirit constantly emanates spectral energy, producing an invisible energy field that surrounds your spirit. This field acts like a safeguard for nearby teammates standing inside of it, protecting them from enemy Spectres that are in their Phantom Form, but be careful as you are still vulnerable to the Spectre's attacks. You are able to see the spectral matter that other Spectres produce when in your Phantom Form. The Spectre also has another ability called Haunt. Upon using this ability, a 3 second startup will occur and you will obtain Slowness II during that period of time. Receiving any kind of damage during this period will cancel the ability startup, and Haunt cannot be used if you have received damage in the last 10 seconds. Once the startup finishes, you will, for only one time per location, teleport to the area where your spirit has last hit an enemy, playing a screaming ghast sound and creating an explosion of ghostly smoke upon teleporting. Teleporting in or nearby by an enemy team's nexus room will inflict you with Mining Fatigue II for 10 seconds. This ability enters a 45 second cooldown upon use. Pros Using Phantom Form lets you attack enemies indirectly as a spirit that cannot be harmed through normal means, has a faster movement speed, a higher jumping height, and a stealthy, transparent body. You can teleport to the area where your spirit last attacked an enemy by using your Haunt ability. You are able to harm the spirits of enemy Spectres and protect your allies from them as well. Cons Being in Phantom Form leaves your physical body vulnerable to enemies, especially when it’s out in the open, as most enemies would target and kill your body for free loot. You receive Slowness I and Weakness II for 15 seconds when returning to your body after using Phantom Form. Teleporting in or nearby an enemy nexus by using Haunt will inflict you with Mining Fatigue II for 10 seconds, and you cannot Haunt away from battles. Enemy Spectres are your biggest threat as they are able to harm you while you're in Phantom Form and protect their nearby teammates from your attacks. Tips & Tactics Find a hiding place for your body to reside in so that you are able to enter Phantom Form safely without being discovered and have time to wait out the negative status effects that come after returning into your body. Ambushing unsuspecting enemies such as miners in Phantom Form is a good way to deal tons of damage to them before haunting their location and inflicting the finishing blow. However, be aware that you have weakness and slowness when returning to your body, so wielding a powerful sword is a must-have as a Spectre. You are the only class that can protect your teammates from enemy Spectres, so make sure to keep an eye on your team and help them when they are in danger. When fighting against another Spectre while in Phantom Form, escape to your body. You do not have armor as a spirit and wield only Sharpness I shears, making you much weaker than the other Spectre. (Note that this is still a WIP, so there's definitely be some quirks or imbalances here and there, and I'll try to spend my time fixing them!)
