Personally I think it would be nice to have a mod or plugin that would allow you to rotate the blocks at will - For example: With the difficult placement of stairs (considering if you are placing stairs at a specific angle to make it face a certain way, but having something that is in the way which hinders you from being able to click on a specific area of a block in respect to where you are actually positioned at, which in return determines the actual placement of the stair). In other words, simply allow a block that you are holding to be rotated before you actually put it down. This could also be done with entire structures, just like mcedit allows you to do. Can this be done?
I like the idea someone has made a mod for it http://www.minecraftmods.com/rotatable-blocks/ But you have to take into consideration the amount of memory it will consume on the server. May boost the lag for some people.
Idk but in creative they call it: Worldeddit..... //rotate (0-360) to rotate ur full clipboard. But i think it would be usefull to have a comand to do this to a single block aswell. altho it aint THAT hard to place a stair right? Greetz,
It's not difficult but it's tedious. And I know what world edit is, and when I said "any angle" I literally meant the x,y, and z axis can be rotated like you can do in mcedit. In mcedit you can actually see the structure rotate, as opposed to worldedit you have to rotate then paste, then you can see the outcome afterwards.
