»Autoteams in Annihilation

I guess explaining this would be as simple as the title. /s

Remove the ability to choose which team you want to be with, and instead implement automatic team assignment.

I found I wanted to suggest this due to seeing people spam right-click on a sign upon seeing certain people hit the particular team. This could balance teams altogether and might encourage legitimate camaraderie amongst lucky/unlucky members of a team.

Groups could instead (or also) be implemented. Let people who want to be in a team group themselves (but only when they're outside an anni lobby). You need to be in the general lobby if you want to group with people and:

If the autoteam is implemented, people in that group will be in the same team.

If it isn't, the leader of the group (i.e. the first person who sent an /invite [name]) will have to right-click a team color.

This is a good idea because there would be random teams.
But this idea sucks cuz if you wanted to be with ur friend you would have a 25% chance to.

But why tho.

It can be both, honestly. Party system (i.e. group yourselves) and when the game starts you all will be on the same team. As for Phase 2 or 3 joiners, as soon as they choose a class, they'll be randomly sent to a team that has a spot open. (EDIT: That, or they'll have an item on the hotbar that says 'Play' or 'Join Game', which if right-clicked, will send them to a team.)

I'm still not game with this idea. It ruins the aspect of forming an excellent team and the Party system is basically making a team so this doesn't have much of a use.

 

So does the fact people rxpe their right mouse button to join an already heavily advantaged team.

I think having the Party system will encourage forming an excellent team. People will actually have to talk out who wants to be in whose teams and what roles will they play us. Of course there will be several outliers to that sentiment but I feel this would encourage camaraderie rather than diminish it.

Anthers here's the thing allright,

There exists a certain group of people called "pussies" yes thats right and certain people named "Legit friends"

Now the pussy category is as follows,

-They suck at the game
-90% have been playing for a long time but they're all still garbage at it just unlocked kits
-They join so called "op" teams whereas if they are good they can run solo
-They have low self confidence
-They want to hide under the shield of professionals and hence will continue to have that kind of behaviour thinking they can never get better
-They suck
-They scared
-They're tryhards
-They accuse you if they take the L
-Always tryharding to farm with groups. The farm goes on for 20 minutes and they get around 50 kills due to so many players along with them, get 150 xp and then call it an op farm (Most annoying)


Now comes the Friends category,

-They dont have qualities of pussy category
-They want to just have a fun time with their friends
-They are actual friends wanting to play together and not namesake friends
-They dont take the game WAYYYY TOO FCKING SRSLY

Over all conclusion

As it has its pros and cons i cannot take sides here because it would affect both categories.

Pce "pro kids of anni "old" players (pst how long u play dont matter tryhard. How well you can play matters good example you ask ? Hmmmmmmm Maksimus ? He started playing like a few months ago and already "old" players raging and taking the L from a russian dude and accusing pftttttt pls get gud)

You can't run solo vs a team...

 

It's okay if you get randomly placed into the team with the lowest players because estimating with "pro people" ain't good annihilation is a team based game not a person relied game...

I have annoyed people by doing surgical strikes with civilians especially since civilians are better then you tryhards.

99% of the Disagress of this post will be from anni players who only join op teams and cant play legit
And 1% Will be from peeps who actually wonna play with friends (A party system can be added tho)

This is one of those ideas that does not work if you don't implement everything.

 

Just so you know, i dont have anything against the party system.

 

I played an annihilation game about 4 hours ago and I joined the team with the least amount of poeople. I'm sure some point in your life you have spammed a sign to join a team.

 

@Rockstar9537 - I'm well aware pussies exist, haha. Might I ask, what's 'L' in this context? Anyways, I believe this will combat quote, unquote "pussies". Autoteams will randomize people amongst teams and a Party/Group system can be implemented for those who want to play with friends.

Which is why I feel this is preferable rather than allowing people to pick their own teams.

I recall saying a "Click to Join" item being implemented in the original post.

If you meant for admins to code in a new sign, in addition to already present 4 signs, then that's counterproductive and won't see any use. People will still use the other signs, murder their right-click buttons to join a team because a server-acclaimed pro joined.

If you meant otherwise, then that can be arranged as well; scrap the entire team choosing aspect and replace them with one sign and one item, both aptly named "Click to Join." I'll update the original post should this be the implication and fix for an 'otherwise'.
