Vines are only use to decorating stuff and things, but it looks making the decorated blocks, seems older
Btw if u wanna get vines u probs will be wondering ,grow a jungle tree with 4 saps placed next to each other or go exploring fr a jungle biome

I explained it u can try to get 4 jungle saplings ( now ik that getting jungle saps is not possible without visiting a biome but if ur on gc or most other servers ...u can buy them in player shops or ah or /shop. )and place it in a 2x2 square and u will get a jungle tree
heads up for people who view this and play skyblock the only way you can get any vines is by growing a 2x2 jungle tree otherwise you wont grown anything trying the other approach.

Vines are quite useful. Most entities will get stuck when falling by a ladder, but will fall all the way past a vine. Vines are also a renewable resource, easy to multiply once you get the first one. In newer versions of MC you don't have to find a jungle, they're on random trees in most biomes. This farm design is not very compact; I would use a shorter design to reach them more easily and water channel to contain and move them to a hopper.
