It sucks there's a lot of bantering going on inside this post, because I think it's an amazing idea.

I'd side more with the "Gets to 1 durability but doesn't break".. Because some people can be /msging some friends, or watching a TV show on another screen and end up losing their pickaxe. There's no reason you should HAVE to pay attention to endless hours of mining... The ONLY reason I can think of, is because back in the day, Ax3d wanted people to break them so that he could steal more $$$ from the spenders, but with the EULA here now, that isn't an option.

Anyways, if that's a no-go, the warning system would work fine too.

 

It's their mistake, not ours, I think that shouldn't be added, either way i am not the one who decide yes or no, but i vote NO.

These solutions must be for everyone or at least 70% of the players.
