»REPORTER Tag!

So, as many of you people know from the title of the thread as a new tag! (Reporter)

To get it you need atleast 15+ reports on players! (Hacks) (Spammers ect)
5+ Suggestion posts!
All of the reports / suggestions need to be accepted!

Why? So then, we can easily reward people who are trying to make the server with less hackers! Making the server better with suggestions ect.

It also makes sense in the way reporters report news and that's exactly as reporting hackers. (In a way)

What I suggest is making a new way to apply for it. And making a way to find accepted reports by searching someone`s name.

I think its good so we can reward people who report hackers / spammers ect. As when we report and gets accepted we only get like Accepted. Thanks for the report! So now we can get a better reward then just a thanks!

Sorry but I'm gonna disagree on this one, simply because I know this would cause choas.

 

So what you are saying is that if a guy catches X amount of hackers and reports them then admins would have to believe him because he is "accepted" ?

Seems like a big mess when an admin/mod can click the report section and handle it the normal way instead of refining the search to only "accepted". Since some people only report one time in their life.

So what you mean, is people tell someone for the tag and they only reported a player once? and it got accepted? If so. That's why they should do a search bar so you can go to report search hacker report and then the name of the person who did the report, so then it can be easy to find if he actually made 10 reports

 

Yea, but the staff if they want, they can make it to like 30-50 so then it wont make that "much" chaos.

 

Also its quite harder now to report hackers as the anti-cheat is really good and catches a hacker under 5 minutes most of the times.

 

I'd like a system that offers rewards for reports. On anni there's barely any hacker reports despite there being so many people with the potential to record but instead they choose only record their rushes. If there was a reward system which offered. say 400xp for every hacker report that you made, that gets banned, it would hopefully result in more reports, thus less hackers. But I'm not too sure about how we'd go about giving xp to players, so yea the rewards aspect would be the hard side of this, as it would have to be manual.

Yeah since a long time ago.. It's /h [name] [type of hacks] or use /helpop if you are talking about ingame.

 

I disagree, this is unnecessary and an inconvenience to staff. Of course we want to encourage players to report hackers but this does not seem like the solution.

Bad idea in my opinion since the Reporter Tag can confuse some new players and the tag will look like, it's something special, but in fact, it's easy to get and tags are made for staffs.

But a some kind of reward wouldn't be bad. E.x: 1000 coins in the following server where you reported the offender.

I kinda agree doing like an automatic system where if you get an accepted player report for hacking you get like 10$ in skyblock factions survival ect. 20 exp on anni. If you report someone for chat stuff 5$ on skyblock facs ect. And 10 exp on anni.

 

Also, finding player reports is alitle bit more less as the staff and anti-cheat handle it alot

 

How's a tag a fkn reward lul. And "reporter" just sounds cringe asf anyway.

Just another guy that joined the forum half an hour ago and wants to feel superior somehow, and in this cade trough "tags".

And i dont think you'd get a lot of e-friends on gc if u walked around with a reporter tag cough.. snitch cough

 

You want this to be added why? So that even the people who are honest and report real hacks start to spam their keyboard and make fake reports so that they can get the rank? Sorry but disagreed :S

Also if you`re an older person on the forum, you don't have to bash your keyboard saying because they joined like an hour ago. Either way, its just a suggestion. Don't think because someone made a suggestion that you don't like, they suck. Everyone as there own opinion.

"Henryrocks" basically its like Henry (name) with an object in your name or yea. Rocks (Object) Especially How cringey your name is. Whats even more cringey on your name is, you added MC to your name.
