Now its 1:24 am where I live and I just finished 10+ hours of reading chat looking for mutes. I've been doing this everyday well you might ask "no life" etc no I have ways of notifying me when something pops up in chat and I screen it and post on forum. Now since i've started doing this, I get over 5+ msgs a day of kids who 1.) Toxic 2.) Don't even make a difference in the community and 3.) are rude and consider this post farming.

Now I will tell you here... I get more sh*t done than you do while you ramble to me about whether im post farming or not. I wanted to make a difference in this community. All my time i spent on here i've been spreading toxic garbage to people in chat either threw verbal or physiological abuse. An im done with it. I want to clean up guildcraft faction chat not because its my job, but because reporting is fun. This is something new for me since I have always been the one being reported or just hacking on the server because its fun.

I am simply reporting people when I see it. You may ask " why not report them in 1 report or hit the edit button"

Well thats because I know how guildcraft works you guys are short on staff things won't happen unless it is in front of their eyes. Hitting the edit button on a locked post when an admin says "dealt with" ye you tell me? ye you think another staff is gonna look at that and waste their time checking to see if all of them are muted just to find the newly added ones. (NO)

I push out over 15-20 reports a day In various times.

They may say "Why don't you just save them for the end of the day" Whats the point of reporting it then someone else may have done it. Then you get a unsatisfying answer "these were already taken care of" Then its pointless.

If any staff finds a solution to this conundrum throw it down below and @ tag me. Cause as of now I'm not doing anything wrong if I'm constantly pushing out reports when no one is online and i'm monitoring chat 10+ hours a day.

You Should Try To Avoid Reporting 1 Player In One Report

 

There are two solutions

Try to clump your reports and only report when u have three different players.
This will help with it

And/Or

Try to be clean in chat for about 3 months then apply for mod and mute them without reporting

{this one worked out for me}

M9, our boi here is trying to help the community. Spamming reports doesnt fking make a difference. Who the fk cares if you have alot of posts? I dont give a single sh!t about post farming. What he is doing is 100% tolerable as it is helping the community getting rid of the ones who dont follow the rules.

Lmao! various times? you made 5-6 reports in 3-4 minutes!
And you reported 2 players, in 2 separate reports with the SAME screenshot! Srls? how isn't that post farming?
The solution is to wait 10 minutes and report them all together! If another player has already reported one or two of the players you reported, it's ok. staff will see it.

 

You guys don't understand he doesn't care on his post number so stop calling it postfarm and thanks him insted for taking his time and reporting peoples

 

He said he likes reporting players, so thats not a "waste of his time". But he can do it by combining 5 reports to 1. Not that difficult

 

And you guys can just check the posts separately, not difficult. Posts are nothing. If it flood a fking good forum post = bad. If they are reports on report section = no difference. People do whatever they want.

The reason people postfarm, is

1) to become staff. -

-maddog already had like 90 posts when he started reporting, which is more than enough required to become staff.

2) Because of the weird "ranks" you get. -

Seriously you're weird if you care about those lul. And i don't think maddog cares about them either.

3) Because of the numbers.

What if the reports were have to be done in different multiple servers, and specific staffs would just mute/ban the main ones then leave the rest to the other server's staffs but in the end, the other sever's staffs didn't cared to look at? Staffs would mind their own buisness too... Right?

 

He only reports people from faction. Anyway, he is actually doing a great job althought he is spamming a bit I hope he got the feedback he needed.
