Possibly but it would take a numerous amount of mutations to create them. Science is pretty kewl :p

Lol after millions of years, pretty much anything is possible. "Survival of the fittest". Whoever has the mutation best for survival wins and its offsprings will have these traits too. Pass it on over insane periods of time and you get something completely new.

I asked my biology teacher about this term, and she had never heard of it. I checked both of my biology textbooks and there was nothing about it mutation or in the index. I asked google, and all it threw me was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutation, and I asked Wikipedia, and it told me nothing.

Why did I consult all these sources? Because I was fairly sure that you were just making shit up, and now it's confirmed. Please don't try to baffle us with a load of "science"; actually present some sort of reputable argument. If you'd like to know what this process is truly called, it's genetic drift and it's a little different to how you described it, seeing as you obviously have no idea about it anyway.

Once again, try to use facts rather than making words and terms up that look like facts.

Well, I'm sorry, I guess the sources I used to answer the question were unreliable and I'll be sure to make an extra check on the facts that I present. I'm sorry if this caused you any inconvenience :)

It may be clearer if you search up Darwin's Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection :)

I understand her load of bullshit, which is clearly an attempt to half-arse a complex biological process. I am simply outlining that by the fact that she made up a term clearly demonstrates her lack of understanding and citation.

Also, Ashley, in reference to your supposed "sources" that you consulted, please show me them. I already discussed not being able to find any information of the term "slight genetic mutation". If I couldn't find any sources with a specific search, how on earth do you expect me to believe you found one with a generic search? Books, articles, journals. I don't care. Prove this is an actual term, contrary to the belief of myself and anyone else associated with the biology field that I asked, and I shall believe you.

    Obviously the egg was first.
A chicken has to be evolved from an animal which lays eggs. And if something is already born it can't evolve from itself (Unless you're playing pokémon). So the evolved animal (the chicken) came from the egg which confirms that the egg was first.
Or it was just the Illuminati.
