ok guys tday i propose a system called in game ranks,and a modification to crate keys (youve probs seen it on other servers :S) well in this case lets use the old ranks to use as in-game ranks such as demigod and titan, you could also make crate keys available to buy in shop such as the way the archon does it. where you buy a key from the website(buy.guildcraft.org) and get it. ( this is eula compliant btw) and the cosmetic ranks will still be available. i will suggest a price list below for the ranks and keys will stay the same price as they were before

I think thats a great idea But Way to much for titan rank and another thing is this is a great idea at least until Mojang changes eula because mojang has been making us swap Between to ways to run the server So i think that would me a great idea until mojang changes the eula. #PLZaXed

This will never work unless all the ranks reset, and that wont happen.
Only way for this to be added would be if they made another factions server where no one has the old ranks and everyone has to buy them with the in-game money.

 

it may work as there are many new members who cannot buy the new ranks and want a way to obtain ranks such as demigod to have /afk also people with lower ranks will have a chance to upgrade their ranks

 

Also there is no reason this will not work if the ranks are not reset please name a reason so i can find a solution

 

Ok here is one, i spent around 20 euros on the 2 ranks that i have, and now you suggest that people can buy the same ranks with in-game money? Why did i give money then?

 

well this is the only eula compliant way that other people can get these ranks also an economy can start where people can trade with each other in game money for euros( which happens now with people without visas) and you bought the ranks because you wanted a p2w advantage but this way other people other than the ogs can get the older ranks with the perks along with the new cosmetic perks. anything else?

 

also it is not fair for some to have certain abilities and others to not even have a chance to get the items
you can also make the in game money equivalent to the money you spent so a rank such as titan can be 500mil which is equivalent to the irl money you would spend

2. People would abuse of it
3. People who have boosters would easily save up and get them
4. Wouldn't be balanced between factions and factions dimensions because its easier to get money on faction dimensions
5. Wouldn't help with hacker ( they would farm up and sale to get ranks) ( then help each other rank up on alts ect to continue to get richer and continue to hack )

1. They already have supply drops in factions (eula complaint already, everyone has a equal chance of getting) ( I don't know about faction dimensions I don't play there )
2. Keys wont be salable in shop unless they become eula complaint in shop anymore

how would they alt abuse if the alts have 0 money? and hackers always exist and you can alt abuse with the forever popular vote party
and dimensions the prices could be doubled

 

also sale boosters are for the entire server so each individual would have equal opportunities to get money to rankup also i think titan rank is very cheap so i raise the price to 1bil

 

they could rank up on a main account ( sell stuff that they get from it ) and therefore rank them selfs up on other alts

 

There currently are sale boosters on some of the current ranks, but for a single server that it is activated on.

but alts arent allowed also you have to buy the rank before the rank you buy also there would be no point in doing so

Alts are allowed as long as people don't abuse them.

 

This idea is bad, since people have bought there ranks with IRL cash and then you have people that buy ranks with in-game money, that wouldnt be fair for the people that bought ranks
