As a premium player, I don't think GC ever will or should go premium. I've played a lot of premium servers, and it's a different kind of game on most of them. Sure there are some huge ones, but most are more like Semi here, just a few players at a time, and maybe 500 members total. This is not the structure GC was founded on. There would be hardly any way to make money from that small user base. There would be no incentive for innovation or updating anything. No new maps, no new game modes, nothing. Just Semivanilla all day every day.

Now if there was a dedicated staff here who were all knowledgeable in programming then things might be different. As it is this is an all volunteer staff of mostly teenagers with a very small dev team, and that would never work to make a big premium server.

 

There is a bunch of free alt generators out there, Making GC premium is a bad idea, 75% of the players on GC are legit and are cracked. GC Would pretty much have like 200 players if it was premium.
Not to mention, Mineplex is a premium server and they have more hackers than GC does.
Plus we do have a good autoban/anticheat that bans hackers immediatly.

No. GC is know for its staff team trying to be active so i think GC should stay cracked forever

 

Yeah but only Tibo can do that Arjen is more on anni and he might be able to help as well.
But as i stated it will take time and if aXed can find a plugin like that that will cost money.

IF GC is made into a prem server, i lose my MonsterStorm acc on GC and my demigod, since i only got prem last year, ive been on gc for 4 years now

Wow I wasnt expecting 29 replies . I only want 1 thing at GC even if I quitted. Its a community without hackers. Because its really irritating for the players that arent hacking.I believe staff can create a plugin that autobans the people that uses VPN or IP change because I know they are able to check if someone s using VPN or not
