there are a few things that should be changed about maximus:
1. there should be a cap. of mobs he could spawn
2. if you are in /warp courtyard, you shouldnt get kicked for flying by those stupid skeletons (dark warriors)
3. if 1. isnt usefull then just clear all the mobs (except maximus) to get a change of attack
4. let the dark warriors shoot less arrows

points 1 & 3 should also be for the blob

So I was 1 of the the 2 who created that boss.

First of all it is a fps killer and that will not be changed. The arrow shots is to make it harder for the player to get close to maximus.

And second can u be more specific in your point nr. 2 becasue to me it makes no sense.

We have people telling us that that boss is too easy to kill.
Nothing will prob get changed.

The point in that boss is not to attack the boss only, U need to kill the gardians as well. Otherwise RIP fps.

Why wont you change the fact that it is an fps killer? The mobs just keeps spawning so its impossible to kill them and then get to the boss. Just lower the amount of mobs and increase the mobs hp, it's a perfect balance! @YoshiCake
Also after 5 minutes Maximus spawns, when I did /warp courtyard, it goes to 1 fps from the beginning! How am I supposed to kill the mobs if I cant even walk forward?

 

See U miss the thing there. people try to kill the boss and not the mobs that spawns with it. the more damage U deal to it the more mobs will spawn. That lead to the fact that your pc will drop in fps. People go ham on the boss but forget the mobs spawning with it, we made it that way so it wont be easy. If U **** that system up, ofc U will not do well with your fps..

 

How is it our fault when some other noobs mess it up?? I always just snipe the mobs.. When people mess it up and right when I spawn, I can't even see the mobs to kill them cause of my fps and the problem has already started. Just add like an invincible mode where the mobs have to die in order for the boss to get damaged, it's the same concept but more direct and the fps can be normal since EVERYONE will go for the mobs when in invincible mode. See, there's always a guy who messes it up... even if you and 5 other people go for mobs, if 1 or 2 people (aka nubs) target the boss its GG fps for everyone which isn't fair at all.

Lol I have a crappy laptop but I'm getting a Mac soon ! And I meant I won the argument.

 

I don't really mind that shit at all , I got a mac myself and it runs mc with 60-120 fps.
