i dont understand if what you meant that "the world doesnt just revolve around you(me)" but i understand views from someone who only speaks spanish and was able to understand that they try to lie from their perspective.what i meant in qouting that statement was that this was the main reason why he added the rule so that people wouldnt think that aXed was mainly was trying to prevent diversity or was intentionally being racist..

get to the point. you should understand that many players can get away with mutes by talkign in foreign language and staff have a hard time translating or never do because they might be writing in slang as said by papaboom and ofc we know multiple languages but almost all the time we only see people talking in spanish and you cant expect all of us to know spanish. you are not a staff. think from their perspective,

I DO understand the whole issue and my post was made mainly to target those who knew fluent english and only spoke spanish in public chat. That is what my post was about. Simple as that. If i make ridiculous arguments and statements which you believe are why should you care. As well as that, what broad generalizations do i make. Are you saying that I am bias because i dont include details. Read again i include details from chat and the wiki. Once again I am not bias and i dont make up these reasons from my mind- and for the community i understand what this post is about and what other post are about. I understand what i am typing into my posts.

last thing : i said "global language" meaning the language that is used most around the world. not how many people who only know english. I also told you that its common sense for some people who do not have english as their native language to at least know a little bit.
"As can be seen in more detail in the section on English Today, on almost any basis, English is the nearest thing there has ever been to a global language. Its worldwide reach is much greater than anything achieved historically by Latin or French, and there has never been a language as widely spoken as English. Many would reasonably claim that, in the fields of business, academics, science, computing, education, transportation, politics and entertainment, English is already established as the de facto lingua franca.

The UN, the nearest thing we have, or have ever had, to a global community, currently uses five official languages: English, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese, and an estimated 85% of international organizations have English as at least one of their official languages (French comes next with less than 50%). Even more starkly, though, about one third of international organizations (including OPEC, EFTA and ASEAN) use English only, and this figure rises to almost 90% among Asian international organizations."http://www.thehistoryofenglish.com/issues_global.html

Yes so you are proving that not all staff know what all players who speak in different languages are saying.

Main problem with other language is probably going to come with updated plugins, the lag they cause, and also the variety they have, more than likely a lot of curse words won't be in there, in which case the true point is basically missing, to be able to tell if the player is speaking without breaking the rules, and then the uncovered languages such as sub-languages within certain regions or beliefs certain words may change, that the translator will not pick up, and often its these kinds of words that can be used to harass someone in another language.
