Hello everyone reading this, today I will make a fully explained, detailed guide on how to play/win a UHC game. Most of this is mainly going to be for solo UHC, but can just work in Duo, trio etc. First of all you may ask what is UHC? UHC is a gamemode were you need to survival. Your goal is to be the last man standing. But be aware you do NOT regenarate health like normal, you need golden apples or heal potions. Step 1: When you are in the main UHC lobby, you can select a arena to join. It shows how many players are playing/waiting etc. You can choose between Solo, Duo, Trio & Quatre UHC so 1,2,3,4 If you decided what you want to play just right click on the sign and wait for a game to start. If you joined a Duo or higher arena you can use /team create 'name' to make a team and /team invite 'playername' to invite friends in your team. By doing this you will automaticly be set in a team with them. Step 2: After the cooldown, you can start exploring so first what you want to do is chop down 1tree. This will give you enough wood to make a workbench & a wooden pickaxe. Then make a small staircase in the ground to collect some cobblestone. After this craft yourself a stone sword,axe,pickaxe (8cobblestone in total) Step 3: After you got your basic stone tools you can start chopping some trees for apples, try to get atleast 2 apples. Once you got that I suggest you hunt for some food, sugercane. You also want to kill cows to get some leather. In the mean while also try looking for some good caves. Once you have done all this you can go to the next step. Step 4: Once you did all that you can go caving. Your main goal is to atleast get iron armor (what really isn't hard if you have a decent cave) For your whole armor set you will need 24iron. This does not include tools etc. But in the end if you want to make an anvil you will need alot more iron anyways so. Since you have some apples you will also need to get gold to make golden appels. 8gold & 1apple gives you 1golden apple that regenarates 2hearts & gives you 2extra hearts for 2min. So safe them and eat them before you go in to battle. When it comes to diamonds you will need 5 or more. 3 To make a diamond pickaxe to get obsidian and then an extra 2 to make an enchanting table. Also by doing this you can go to the nether. Be aware going to the nether is very risky but can give you a HUGE advantage. You can get potions etc but also extra loot from nether fortresses. Obviously you need lapiz to enchant. For enchanting I would suggest you doing a level 1 enchant on every thing from your armor & sword. You want to get prot 1 & projectile prot 1 on armor & sharp 1 on your sword. If you have extra levels you can try to enchant books and then combine these in an anvil. Note: You can still mine for more diamonds if you would like to. Step 5: If you are done caving I suggest you going back up and go hunt for players. Try killing some spiders to make yourself a bow & kill skeletons to get some arrows (or just craft them). Also a flint & steel or a lava bucket are very effective in UHC pvp fights. Keep in mind that you do not regenarate automaticly so be carefull going into a fight. Be smart and don't rush it too much. Extra Notes: -There is a border that gets smaller & smaller everytime so be aware of that. -Killing a player will give you his loot & also drop his head, this head can be used to make a golden apple so just put 8gold around the head in a crafting table. -If you really want to play a good UHC match make sure you have enough time, because games can take upto 1-2hours. -Standing too long afk will automaticly kick you. Extra Tips: Make sure to play with sounds on so you can hear nearby enemys, lava mobs etc to find caves and so on. There are also random chests that spawn (location shown in chat) with quite some good stuff, golden apples, iron, gold and so on. I really like this tutorial. Nice one close5 Some addition: If you want to increase your chances to get sharp II or III swords, and prot II, III armor, you can enchant an other armor or sword piece instead of enchanting the books, wich gives you smaller chance to get the desired enchants. After you have 2 piece of armor or sword with the same enchant, you can combine them in the anvil, and get one level higher result. Ofc. you need more materials for this, but most of the time it worth the investment. Enchanting: If you combine your used sword with a new one, what you just enchanted, it does matter which is the first and which is the second in the anvil. Usually you want to put the undamaged first in the anvil, so you don't need to "pay" for the repair, only for the enchant combining. Same applies for bows. -Hyperloop

Step 2: After the cooldown, you can start exploring so first what you want to do is chop down a tree if oak. If oak isn't available, mine 4 logs. This will give you enough wood to make a workbench & 8 sticks. Craft a wooden pickaxe and then dig straight down till you reach stone to collect SIXTEEN cobblestone. After this craft yourself a stone sword,axe,pickaxe and a furnace (16cobblestone in total) Step 3: After you got your basic stone tools you can start chopping some trees for apples, try to get atleast three apples. Chopping down only the top of the trees i.e. the part connected to the leaves is more efficient as it has a higher leaf despawn per wood mined rate. Once you got that I suggest you hunt for some food, sugarcane. You also want to kill cows to get some leather or rabbits if cows are scarce and rabbits abundant, as leather is craftable with 4 rabbit hide. In the mean while also try looking for some good caves. Once you have done all this you can go to the next step. Step 4: Once you did all that you can go caving. Your main goal while caving is to get enchanted before border shrink at 45 minutes. For your whole armor set you will need 24iron plus 14 for a sword, 2 pickaxes and 2 buckets. 5 diamonds to get enchanted (pickaxe+2) and maybe flint for arrows and/or a FnS. But in the end if you want to make an anvil you will need alot more iron anyways so. Since you have some apples you will also need to get gold to make golden appels. 8gold & 1apple or head gives you 1golden apple that regenerates 2hearts & gives you 2 absorption hearts for 2min. Be aware going to the nether (Completely flawed point, you can go to nether using buckets and is often what you do if you want find diamonds, in hopes of finding diamonds in foretress chests, or to brew poison pots) is very risky but can give you a HUGE advantage.
