»[Factions Original] Allowing Chests to be opened in claimed territory

Background:

To a little bit of background talk, mostly, in the raids that i often do, it is extremely hard to locate where the chests, spawners are to shoot the cannon and break them, get the loot. For instance, if i was a cannoner, who spent all of my tnt on breaking a 20 wall base, entered the base and found out that my cannon was not located at the correct place. Then, i need to move the cannon again spend hours on breaking the walls but i have no tnt left. Anyway, the raids are really pointless once you broke into the base and get no loot because your cannon was not located at the correct place.

Also, it is hard for us to make separate little bases (Like obsidian vaults for the members, which is pretty popular on The Camping Rusher's Factions Series on Youtube)


Difference between our server and other good faction servers:

I can understand that GuildCraft might be slightly diffrent from other faction servers. But please understand that most faction (cannons) servers ALLOW their chests to be opened in claimed and trusted (Owner-claimed) territory. I believe that our server should apply the same system too.

What do we want:

Yeah, short and simple, we want chests to be opened in claimed territories as mentioned. This would help alot in both raiding and making little obsidian vaults for my members.

*Note: Only enable it in overworld and nether, not the end since we already have withers.

no!! what if someone try to raid your base, realise that his cannon were not in the right place and then give up..

Put sand on the chests, water protect the chest, problem solved

Allowing chests to be opened in claimed territory helps you to AT LEAST get some loot in unprotected chests. If i forget to put sand on the top of the chest and i log off, it would be 100% my fault and yeah i will face the consequence ofc.

Anyway 2 points:

1. At least get some loot from unprotected chests (like mentioned)
2. Allow the members to have their own little obsidian vault.

When i raiding a big Base....i always Confused where to place the cannon and destroy the chest
so it will helped me alot if chest can be opened on Claimed Land...
and i want if placed spawners (not the neutral) now can taked with Silk Touch Pick

I feel this is a topic that is always posted, and the answer is always no, because it would mean bigger bases, new economy, bigger map, etc .

Or atleast, add creeper eggs to the shop. So that people know if they can cannon in a base they can atleast take down some of the chests with the creeper eggs.

 

1 Word Nub... (ok well two i guess) CreeperEggs... yes just buy some friggen creeper eggs make the creepers explode to loot the chests... if thats possible anyway...

 

Do you even play factions if no don't comment, 1 creeper egg in gc costs 5euros irl money. You think people are that rich to buy creeper eggs every time they raid.

 

this isnt op fac for them to add ceggs to shop ...go buy keys or ceggs from GC website shop or trade stuff ingame for euros people are almost always selling euros

 

i dont agree because it may be small server for factions but there are alot of nob bases and fist many may agree be cause they have protected chests and obsidian bases a lot of power and others and i realy yusk cant have memebers be cause they will scam me so i realy dont agree and bases are here small so it will be easy even tenderman will agree with me

 

Do you even raid mate? Have you ever watched factions online? Or even played factions elsewhere except gc. Every server out there has either allowed claimed chests to be opened, or creeper eggs to be allowed. Your knowledge is limited to gc. And don't comment here if you can't make suggestions that make sense. Why would I spend 5 euros on 1 creeper egg. Thats the reason I suggested to put them in SHOP. If you're not making ssuggestios to the post don't reply. And you're not admin or someone to tell people not to make posts again. Please limit your minute knowledge of factions to yourself thanks. And I bet you barely can make a simple cannon to raid a base, for people like you bases are like 15*15*15 that you can raid the entire base with cannons. Please, get better knowledge or don't comment. I suggested creeper eggs to be added to shop so that people can try to get chests when they raid and get into base. This will make the level of factions in gc actually grow up, and reach the normal levels of factions servers out there.

And they want u to make a OP cannon but without using redstone torches
if u wanna raid on gc
just get an insider or get in their base and sethome and stay online 24/7 so u kill them and overclaim (which wouldnt be possible cause people arent that dumb )

May i ask why is it bad for GC's players to improve and start making bigger bases ? And how would openable chest change the economy or map size ? Because other cannon servers have openable chests and 5k map size, not 19k and they are pretty popular and no one is complaining.

Lol only retards would spend 5 euros on a cegg. And why would u trade ingame stuff to get a cegg when u won't get any profit after using it ? Just for the sake of blowing shit ?
