Hey guys, so I am planning to build a new PC which will be expensive and OP af... I am already saving for it but it will take a long time and new graphics cards will keep getting released... I am asking everyone, should I buy decent parts and keep upgrading? Or buy the actual build I want?

self made > pre-made man. if you are on a budget then just try to reuse the older parts and upgrade some of the current ones. got any specific builds you are looking into?? maybe i can help xD

not a bad build tho but like in 3 years time there will definitely be better gpus then a 1080 so u might wanna keep that in mind :D
plus i would highly recommend a aftermarket gpu instead of a founders addition as they provide better cooling to the card itself :3
dont worry about the price tho the 1080s will definitely drop in price xD

i rather you add a extra ssd then have a huge chunk of just hdd storage for yourself tho it will help your computer boot up faster
plus lastly most important thing.... if i am right, that cpu doesnt include a stock cooler i think :/ and since you chose a unlocked cpu i guess you might wanna over-clock, so a cooler will be good man xD

overall not a bad build man abit of twerks here and there and it will be a beast workstation :)

You might consider future-proofing your build and then start upgrading. AMD is a budget company basically, you can start with an AMD gpu and a I5 4460(a great starter CPU) and possibly 6-8 gb of ram(8is enough for all pc games nowadays). Don't consider buying a "overkill" power supply, try to calculate how much you need and have some left for future upgrades. I started with a I5 4460 and a GTX 650 (a great nvidia budget card, it's reliable and all that) I started with 8gb of budget kingston ram(kingston is amazing for a starter gaming pc). 1tb of hdd space should be enough for you because storage is getting cheaper and cheaper, unless you're doing youtube, then coniser getting more space(if you think you'll be a frequent uploader and not take breaks), but don't get too much space (eg. 6 tb of hdd space) if you consider doing youtube as a hobby and all that. The motherboard is up to you, you need to know what socket for the cpu you need and what graphics you end up using, if you're starting consider going with a gigabyte mini itx or mini atx board cause you wont need that much space and gigabyte is relliable and you can place whatever gpu you end up using you just can't go with sli. So, the case... You don't need to change your case like I saw in a previous comment, get a good, sturdy case (a thermaltake on will do just fine cause they're cheap and quality) and just clean your pc every month or so. If the case ends up breaking in some way replace it imediatley cause it has a chance of shorting out your componets, and if it has a chance.. Believe me it will.
Good luck with your build and i hope you upgrade to the best of the best! :D
