Haha this is priceless It basically sums up our "non-recording" time spent talking! We'll have to secretly record it someday and put the convo as bloopers at the end of our video

 

Ik what you mean, but man it's a part of the game, now if you go play skywars this is a pretty natural thing to do but again this is eggwars this isn't natural, but you can in turn collect loot and get a bow yourself and try to bow him off. Now another day a guy comes up with a god apple and sits in your base and tries to get to your egg even tho there are 2 layers of obby around it and he is able to survive because of God apple doesn't mean we remove it. You can play it smart, if he has a bow you can get a bow too, instead of removing bows we can introduce water buckets, better solution? It is difficult to use a water bucket but it's still a solution and you might get used to it.

 

I see 2 options because yes currently it is not good.

1. Remove bows.

2. Remove the knockback from bows.

Really interested what people think of the knock back idea.

 

You just played for 45 mins...I had to waste 1 hr because some player kept punching Me back...he had no armor(only leather) but he had a punch bow...every time I got close to him he kept pushing me back...in the end I left the game -_-

 

Just remove punch bows...All problems solved

 

LET BOWS IN-GAME

I play eggwars almost when they came on GC.
And I faced TONES OF KILLAURA HACKERS AND KB HACKERS REACH HACKERS ETC.
Whats they only way to beat a reach/killaura/kb hacker -> punch bow
and if u see anti-kb hacker with low armor what u do -> power bow
if someone builds high up at ur team what u do -> BOW

If the hacker is full geared and anti-kb/killaura/reach/kb/x-ray this is sth else.

So LET BOWS IN-GAME

 

It's a really good idea to get the knockback from the bows, so you can't be shot from a bridge easily. BUT the thing is that it's still going to happen that a team of 5 people will camp in there base, all armed with power 2 bows. This makes it still impossible to make bridge to them, since they all shoot you with power 2 bows, which deal quite a lot of damage. So still the only way to go to an island with only campers is making a bridge with walls and roof, which is kinda a waste of time.

So my suggestion is:
Remove bows.

 

Well if eggwars gets updated to 1.9 or 1.10 bows won't be a problem cause you would have the shield, and if you removed the bow you also removed the whole fun of the game and saying it would talk a long time to finish the game that is wrong, you can become op while shooting people off and you can break their egg while they have nothing. So if bows are removed (which will not happen) the whole fun will be removed as well.

 

Uhm I disagree with you. I don't think bows cause all the fun of the game and also, have you ever seen an Island surrounded with walls with 5 people camping in it with bows? If you did you understand that it isn't fun. Those people can't get shot off since they are surrounded by walls. And bows may be removed since aXed said it in a previous post.

 

i was in contact with the eggwars head-admin and said bows wont be removed + if it got updated to 1.9/1.10 it wont be a problem since there will be shields and might add ender pearls to the game so making walls and camping wont help anymore.

 

3. Maybe add ender pearls for 15 diamond ?? Or more or less
Bow is a part of this game , you can't just remove it .
