»[Annihilation Suggestion] Mystery Box / Annihilation Tickets #EULA #NEW

Hey guys!

Today @TheCatsKing and I came up with a new idea for Annihilation read this line 10 times until you get the point of that line, meaning we came up with something that could be added new for Annihilation, no copyrights, something that nobody has (Annihilation servers only). It's similar to the soul box that Hypixel has but it's much different. This idea would bring lots of new players to Annihilation obviously and might even bring back the old players who quit because they were bored of playing Annihilation. The box has lots of rare items, items that you can only get from the box, nowhere else what makes the box that worth to get (Again similar to Hypixel's but not). The gameplay would become more interesting/fun and worth time to play. The experience that the player would get, would make the player want play forever. Keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the EULA.

The Mystery box is the main idea of this suggestion. The Mystery box is an enderchest located in /server anni. It's kinda equal to faction's vote crates but you won't need vote keys to activate them but Annihilation Tickets. Rewards and the way of getting "Annihilation Tickets" will be equal for everyone meaning the donator ranks will be equal to non ranked players. In order to open the Mystery box you need to get 25 Annihilation Tickets, meaning 25 Annihilation Tickets equals 1 Mystery box. Once you get enough Annihilation Tickets, you will be able to activate the Mystery box and get its rewards. Read below to see how to get "Annihilation Tickets". To see how many Annihilation Tickets you have you would type /ati. The maximum Annihilation Tickets you can get is 150 out of 150, after passing the max number (150) you won't receive any more Annihilation Tickets unless you waste them ( Similar to Hypixel's ). Once you have 25 Tickets you will be able to open the Mystery box and get the reward straight, you won't need to buy the box and then open it, it would open straight once you click on the enderchest which located in /server anni. Keep in mind that if you get something that you already unlocked you will get 1,000 - 2,000xp instead, depends on the item ( Again, similar to Hypixel's Soul Box )

Annihilation Tickets are the only way you can get Mystery Boxes, you cannot donate for tickets or boxes, you will have to play in order to get them. 25 Annihilation Tickets are equal to 1 Mystery box. Don't worry, you're gonna have a great long time getting those Annihilation Tickets.

Read this list to see the only ways you can get "Annihilation Tickets": [Feel free to suggest more ways to get Annihilation Tickets]

1. You will have 1% chance of getting 1 Annihilation Ticket after every time you kill a player, although after getting the Annihilation Ticket you would get 10 minutes cooldown, after the cooldown ends you will be be able to get Annihialtion ticket again (with 1% obviously) [ This is only to avoid abuse players who open alts and kill them in order to get Annihilation Tickets or players who love farm a lot].

2. You will have 1% chance of getting 1 Annihilation Ticket after every time you mine a nexus, again, you will get 10 mins cooldown and after the cooldown ends you will be able to get Annihilation ticket again when mining a nexus (with 1% obviously)

3. Voting will reward you with 1 Annihilation Ticket, there would be a 50% chance though. So the maximum amount of tickets you can get (if you are lucky) will be 6, as there are 6 links to vote in.

4. Everytime you would win a Annihilation game you would have a 50% change of gettting 1 Annihilation tickets, depends on your luck. When losing an Annihilation game you would get 0 Annihilation tickets.

5. You will be able to buy Annihilation Tickets on our Annihilation shop which located in /server anni, 1 Annihilation ticket would cost 5,000xp, the reason why we want the price of the Annihilation ticket be so high is because we don't want players with 500,000+ xp get tons of boxes in 1 day, another reason is because we want the Annihilation tickets to be hard to get.

Every time you buy or receive an Annihilation ticket you would hear a sound > Same as the sound that Minecraft plays when you hit somebody with an arrow.

Getting those all 25 Annihilation tickets was hard, yeah? well, here comes the prizes.. Some rewards will be unique and only obtainable on the Mystery box.

Keep in mind guys that the last rewards of the list are the hardest to get, meaning it would take you very long time to get them.

We will make a list of possible rewards right here: (From Higher chance to lower chance) [Feel free to suggest more rewards] [Keep in mind that if you get something that you already have or that you already unlocked you will get 1,000 - 2,000 AnnihilationXP depends on the item ( Again, similar to Hypixel's Soul Box )].

1. 500 to 3000 AnnihilationXP, depends on your luck.

2. 3 to 5 Legacy tokens, depends on your luck.

3. 2X Multiplier when mining Melons or Gravel for 2 weeks.

4. 2X Speed Multiplier for your Ender Furnace for 2 week.

5. 2X Speed Multiplier for your Ender Brewing Stand for 1 week.

6. 2X Personal Annihilation Booster for 2h.

Keep in mind that if you already have 2x Speed Multiplier for 2 weeks and then you get lucky and get somehow the Permanent one, it would be replaced with the permanent and remove the 2 weeks one.

7. 2X Multiplier when mining Melons or Gravel for PERMANENT [rare prize].

8. 2X Speed Multiplier for your Ender Furnace for PERMANENT [rare prize].

9. 2X Speed Multiplier for your Ender Brewing Stand for PERMANENT [rare prize].

10. In-lobby random particles (If they ever get added) [Only /server anni] [rare prize].

11. Annihilation Kits - Lowest chance (Almost impossible, only if you lucky enough) [The most rare prize].


Players who have any possible booster ( Old ranks, bought from legacy store ) will not be able to get the "Personal Annihilation Booster" from the Mysteru Box but you will get 1,000 to 2,000 AnnihilationXP instead.

Keep in mind that the only way you can get all those 2x speed stuff is from the MYSTERY BOX, nowhere else.



Those are all the possible rewards for now, even though we will keep adding ideas in the future [Feel free to suggest more prizes]. If you already have a perk active and you get it again or something that you already unlocked, you will receive 1,000 to 2,000 AnnihilationXP, depends on the item - This will only be able to happen if you have unlocked:
Speed Boosters, Melon booster, Annihilation kits, Particles or Booster.

Begginers (Players who just joined GuildCraft, or who just joined Annihilation for the FIRST time) will get 1 Mystery Box when they first join Annihilation, just to show them what have we got and to encourage them to play here.

We know this would change Annihilation a lot, we know, but just imagine how fun would it be, it would be nice to win a game and open a box, plus imagine how exciting would it be to watch it go through every reward to end up in yours...


Before you start accuse us of "copying" from Hypixel, you may want to try reread the first paragraph again.

 

Lmao so you just stole the picture of Hypixel's Mystery Boxes and you suggested it here as your "OWN" idea? That's something really bad for a staff to do. -1

I'm sorry if I offended anyone of you but this isn't even close to "similar" it's exactly the same, just because the rewards will be different the main idea won't change. I don't believe that my opinion has to do anything with what server I play.

 

He gave credits to Hypixel down there, also, we mentioned that we got the main idea from hypixel. Even though we spent alot of time thinking on how to get those tickets and possible prizes plus making the post.

It's not like we copied the whole post from their forums.
PLUS, if we want to find who copied who, we would have to say that hypixel copied the idea from the faction crates plugin guildcraft (and many other servers) has, so you should start thinking on that too.

So just like youtube, can you take a song that is copyrighted and upload it just because you gave credits? No you can't, it doesn't allow you to, the only way to get it, is to ask permission from the song owner, in this case is the owner of Hypixel.

 

If you read carefully you would see that the idea was made for "Annihilation". Show me proof that the suggestion copied and looks EXACTLY like Hypixel's, when I say exactly I mean every single price / item / thing looks the same and then we can have a serious talk. We gave credits above to Hypixel that the idea is similar to their Soul Boxes but it isn't. It's also similar to all Mythical/Vote crates that we have all over GuildCraft. Now please don't start spam my thread with the same comments and points, they will all be removed from public view if you do, thanks. When a server has something doesn't mean other server cannot have the same thing but in a different theme or items. Lots of servers are copying from GuildCraft and sometimes we do the same and we won't go in jail for that. You miss understood us, you said we claimed the idea as ours and it's basically Hypixel's, well it's not and as I said, if you read carefully and use more your brain you will notice that we wrote WE CAME UP WITH A NEW IDEA FOR ANNIHILATION , it's simply said that we thought of something new that could be added to Annihilation. Now spread your hate some where else. Read twice next time, or in your case, reread 10 times until you get the point.

First of all, @Sir_Doom, this is a suggestion thread, Not 'he stole the idea from another server omg' discussion thread. You got a problem with it? Ok, but don't start a whole STUPID discussion about it here. It's only creating anger and spam, and also redirect the main topic of this thread to something else. No one cares about where the idea came from.

To the topic: I just love the idea so much. Though few things I think should be changed:
• '1 ticket per vote' - I feel like players might be getting tickets too fast, and since the rewards are OP, and the tickets should be hard-to-get, it seems to be easy to get with this method.

• '1-3 tickets per win' - I think it should be handled differently: Instead of 1-3 per win, make it 1 per win, and when there is a network booster active, all players will get 2 or 3, depends on what booster is active.

• '2% chance to get when mining a nexus' - That should also be handled by the network boosters. Without any booster active it should be 2%, with booster active it should be 3%-4% or higher, depends on what booster. Same for killing a player method.

In these ways, the network boosters are more effective than ever, and gives people an extra reason to buy them.

Just my thoughts

So we can still get 2X exp when mining gravel and melons thingy even when we have boosters right? 'Cus boosters only work for Anni XP

 

Nope 2x means you will get double melons everytime you mine one. same with gravel. The exp stays the same otherwise it would be as op as enchanter.

I absolutely agree with #1, you would be able to open a crate like every 2-3 days and that's a lil bit op if you look at the prizes, changing it to 50% chance on every vote.
About 2# and #3, I think that's too op tbh, but it would encourage players to buy global boosters which is good. I don't know if we are gonna add those, Keep in mind that if we add it, Personal legacy boosters won't count (only global boosters) and it won't be 2% 3% 4% depending on the booster but 2x = 2.5% ||| 3x = 2.75% ||| 4x = 3% etc.
