»[Gc Shop Suggestion] Crates Drop and others [Important :3]

Hi, I am here suggesting an addition thing to GC shop

Crate drop

What it basically, is, you buy it from GC shop with irl money.
There will be 3 types of crates

Uncommon: $3
Rare: $4.5
Mythical: $6.5

When you receive the crate, you can jump down the war zone and choose yourselves a spot. (this crate key can only be placed in war zone)

Within 20x block radius, after 40 seconds (cuz war zone is big), a chest will drop with the crate key, surrounding it (Like the entire war zone, not within 20 blocks radius) will be other chests with p4 set, zombie spanwer, etc. Players will have to battle it out for it. Firework should be spanwed where the chest is spawned too, otherwise it will be too hard to find the crate.

The more expensive the crate is, the more chests will it spawn.
Uncommon crate spawns 1 uncommon crate key and 10 other chests
Rare crate spawns 1 rare crate key and 15 other chests
Mythical crate spawns 1 mythical crate key and 20 other chests

Booster

What about booster? Yes, I found this idea really cool on Archon

We should have Mcmmo, Exp and potion effect booster.

Price should be around $5-$10 depending on what type of booster it is.

Whenever you buy it, it activates for 1 hour. You can do /booster to activate it. If 1 booster, which is the same as yours, was already activating, yours will be activated next. The player name who activated it will be in the /booster info. Player can /tip (amount of money) to the player who activated it (not sure that anyone will but y not add it cuz those players should deserve that.

Custom name tag

People loves to make their god set colorful with custom enchants (Eula allows cosmetics stuff) so why not add this? What it basically do is it allows players to name the item with color code like &1GodSword. Custom name tag will allow you to color code the items and make it colorful and such :3 hue.

Price: $2

Ability to /nick /prefix

Since ranks are not in the store now, I suggest that we should add these abilities in. Although we can still get legend rank to /nick and stuff with legacy coins but it's really hard to get. Moreover, this ability is permenant.

Price: $10

P/s: Kinda sad that shop are now closed. Although it makes my gameplay a bit better cuz I don't have to compete with those who p2w, I want shop back so I can get my ranks upgraded ;-;. Anyway, I'd also love these cosmetics stuff to be added as well :3

I did not want to exactly copy their idea but we just have to (kinda) cuz it helps the shop. The supply crate is slightly different doe. I want it to be 1 minute rather than 15 seconds (on archon) cuz 1 minute would make it slightly harder to get the crate key (players have to battle it out for the key). Also, admins can organize pvp event using this too! :O :O

About the drops crate''s drops:
The drops may only purely cosmetic. Pets, hats, and particle effects.

About the booster:

we want all players to be presented with the same gameplay features, whether they decide to pay or not.
someone has booster then he is faster than someone who has not paid . and that 's not allowed.

if the stuff you sell affects gameplay Thats not allowed.

The supply drops are allowed to have crate keys in them, they allowed the Archon to do it. It just has to be fair for everyone, so that's why they make it in the war zone, so people have the chance to steal your key if you are not luck enough to get it(go a fair way out so no one would find you in the war zone)

 

it's not fair for everyone.

If you do it when there are few online . Does anyone benefit from it except the person who bought it.

And clearly you can not buy anything with real money if you get benefit in gameplay.

The crates may only Cosmetics and no benefit in the gameplay.

 

Faction Original has an average of 60 players at all time
Also it broadcast it in chat, that he is about to do the supply drop, they will also have 1 min to find that player(they may not find him/her), but if they do find the player, they will have a chance to get that key

 

Other servers are also adding crates and keys that you have to battle for.
Mojang is allowing it.

Best practice is to create the mock shop and run it by Mojang for approval BEFORE it goes live.

Was going to suggest the first two as I saw the on The Archon and also saw the first one on Cosmic PVP, it's a great replacement for the crate keys and it's EULA compliant +1

 

I dont think that people would buy crates. Cause you dont win straightly,you have to fight.

But custom nametags would be good. If aXed add them i'll buy

 

I think that buy2win was blocked cuz of EULA since it was blacklisted so we don't want that to happen again >:I
BUT some of those you wrote that aren't any advantage to other players are fine.

 

All of those ideas are EULA compliant.

 

why are u crying? u don't want the server to get money? and btw other servers are doing it and it is allowed..
really no one wants to buy cosmetic etc .. IF this is added it will keep the server running, but if u keep crying about P2w, not fair for everyone, then just go play vanilla single player, everything will be fair for u there...
by adding this there will be more pvp, there will be people like me running 24/7 around war-zone to find the people with supply drops..
let me tell u something if the server does not get money to keep up with its bills etc.. there will be no GC..
so if u have no idea about EULA.. just don't talk..

now abot the topic
making the price of keys
-should be not more then 6 euros... 8 euros no one will buy
- make something special in the keys so people will buy them more often..
- from 60 seconds make it 30 seconds

Ermm our war zone is big.... Idk, 60 seconds seems more rational. Nvm gonna do 40 secs. And yes, this is to keep the server running. Without money, axed won't run the server. He has to play hundred of dollars on plugins, keeping server up, for his developers, etc.

 

It are good ideas but since the archon has it, we are just copying their ideas.

 

I am not exactly replicating them, first idea is a bit different to their, more fair cuz there will be more chests spanwed everywhere rather than 1 chest being spanwed near the owner.

The 2nd one, yh, I must admit that this one, we are copying from them but we need it. Why? It helps our shop and make it more fun to play? x3
