Death note and Code gease are the best anime out there if you haven't watched those two then your probably not a major anime enthusiast.

But for now you are better off watching SAO and naruto and other mainstream crap.
Yes, i started off with those too but i broke my way out of it and watching some great anime unlike SAO , naruto which just keep on releasing new episodes to keep the fans hooked and to earn as much cash as possible after running out of storyline and writing some random crap down and animating it over and over again.

seriously all the fucking cliche is gettin annoying as f. Honestly there are a few good anime out there which have a good storyline good character development and fucking what not.
