»How to start your very own Skyblock.

Skyblock is an add-on for Minecraft that allows you to start on a small island in the sky, all that is under you other than the island is the void, be careful not to fall to your death.

The point of it is almost like survival, To build and achieve greatness. This guide is to help you learn how to start you island, and how to make a cobble generator to be able to expand it.


Congratulations, You have made it to the Skyblock server.




If you do as the hologram suggests you can create your own island by typing /is or /island in the chat!!

In this guide ill start by showing you the most import thing to any skyblock player. How to build your own Cobble generator.

Step 1: Mine out the dirt as shown in the picture below.


Make sure its 4 long by 1 wide, and dig out the second block going in from one of the 2 sides.

Step 2: Place your lava and ice/water.


Make sure the lava is placed where its 2 blocks long and the water where there is only one. This will stop the water from flowing over the lava and turning it into obsidian. make sure to break the ice once both are placed to let the water flow.


If you did this correctly, your new cobble generator should now look like this.


Now you can either stand on the grass, or break the grass on either side of the cobblestone and stand next to the cobble as you mine it.

If You accidentally make obsidian, right click the obsidian block with your bucket to turn it back to lava!


I will either make a new tutorial on how to easily start up your skyblock more, or add to this one when i find time if enough people decide that it is worth it.

I turned my lava and water into obsidian help

 

I did the same thing and ragequit. Haven't played it since.

I don't like skyblock because whenever I do good for 1 hour I fall to my death and lose th important stuff

 

When you are falling you should quickly do /is h and save your items. #proskillz

Also a good ideea is to make a tree farm as fast as you can. Wood can be sold in shop. Also the coble. This is a good way to make money . After that just follow the /challenge

i cant change obsidian back to lava...help
