»Ideas for the new phase of GuildCraft [After the full application of this EULA thing]

Alright. We all know, whats happening. We must change ourselves OR revolt, why not both? We revolt against Mojang. If we fail. We comply with the rules [GuildCraft cant be left to die]. So why not begin thinking some creative ideas that will NOT violate the EULA of Mojang For Minecraft?

PS - Forget kits. There will be nothing as "kits".

1) Make /fly purchasable for 25 Euro? [Adjust the price] This does not really give an advantage as Fly abuse is banned on GuildCraft, its basically a slight add on to travel faster/build faster.

2)MCMMO - What about this? I know PvP MCMMO is disabled, but if we are creative, GC can make money from this. Gotta think something unique with this.

3)Pure cosmetics - Particles/Pets/Chat Buffs etc etc 10-25 euros? [Pretty sure this wont be donated much for]

4)A slightly variated vote key for donators? Change the chances of getting stuff more whilst, making sure the player can still get worthless crap.

5) Nightvision/Waterbreathing buffs [Only for a limited time and with a cool down, like "/waterbreath" will give you full 10 minutes of water breathing buff, with a cool down of 2 hours? You can cancel this by typing "/buffcancel" or something similar. For like 10 Euros?

6)Better vote rewards for higher rank? [I dont know if this complies with EULA] Like if you got /vote-ing you recieve certain items like TNT/Obsidian/Money/XP etc, probably add small chances of Full P-IV armour/God stuff/Gapples?

7) "/fireball" for 20 Euro, when typed, it shoots a fireball from the player towards the player/object the player is pointing at [Can be used in other's claims and also ON STUFF belonging to other's claim] [With a cooldown - 15 minutes?] [FACTIONS ONLY]

8) Addition of WarZone Chests for players to PvP for and to win, make getting stuff slightly easier [Making sure people still might *want* to donate] [FACTIONS ONLY]

Write down your ideas below! If I like it, or if it is feasible for GuildCraft. I will add it in here. Remember this entire ideas of list is serious. I demand aXed [Owner@GC] to take a look at this, and change the buffs of donations. Correct where-ever, my idea(s) violate the EULA!

Yes, no kits. As it violates the EULA, the EULA does not allow a server to give some player in-game items in return for real money donations. [Correct me if I am wrong]

 

So this is Factions' idea, wai not make a Global Server idea?

I'm pretty sure most of these still violate EULA rules, as they still give an advantage over a player that hasn't bought the perks.

imo the only thing gc can realistically sell is cosmetics and accessories. ie pets, trails, hats, nicks, prefix's etc.

If Mojang continues with their step, Minecraft will literally lose MILLIONS of its players, cause majority of them play multiplayer like literally who the hell plays singleplayer? I only play singleplayer when the net is down lol.

All server owners should organize a formal meeting with Mojang and Microsoft and debate there, because many Server Owners' earn their daily bread through their own servers, as many of them dedicated their entire life to their Minecraft server,
Look at it, this way, imagine. Youtube suddenly stops paying its YouTubers for their content. Can you imagine what riot would happen? 1000's of Serious YouTubers record/play games/etc for a living and to feed their families! It would be outrageous! YouTubers would be left un-employed with no earning, hitting poverty eventually if they were not big youtubers.
Its basically a similar case for Server Owners...

No one expected Mojang to suddenly tighten their EULA up, ALL SERVERS ARE LITERALLY IN PANIC STATE. Almost all of your suggestions are clearly in violation of the ULA. Anything purchasable that changes the game play like fly, must be given to the entire server. You can only sell crate keys to players if the crates contain absolutely nothing that affects game play, only purely cosmetic things may be sold to individuals. Water-breathing buff would be in violation, night vision may be a gray area.

"Better vote rewards for higher rank?" Nope that's in violation, unless those rewards are purely cosmetic.

"/fireball" - nope clearly in violation unless given to all players on the server when purchased

"I demand aXed..." Good luck with that one.

 

Just about everything you suggested is clearly in violation. If your not able to understand why then your not helping.

I've expected Mojang to go after ULA violators for a couple years, the only surprising thing is how long it took them and that they only went after 30 or so servers. They've been posting about how pay to win is in violation for quite a while now. Agree or disagree its there game to ruin. Furthermore from what the internet is saying they have been sending nasty letters to server owners for a few months now which where all ignored. I'm certain that more strict enforcement methods will follow if the first round fails to get results.

The 'kid' your mad at is 100% right and you are out of line. Almost all of your ideas are totally invalid. I did come up with quite a few ideas that I think can work, feel free to read them in my thread.

They dont have to complai with this eula bs no one will use 1.9.3 its as simple as that so the server wont die man

 

Well we can not advertize our server anymore if we dont comply with the EULA, which means little new players q.q

 

Anyone with ideas? I will simply ignore any off-topic / hate comments from now. Not worth spending time on..

 

HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE THEY HAVE TO CHANGE SOMETHING IN THE VERSION SO THE BLACKLIST THING HAPPEN WHY DID YOU THINK ITS ONLY FOR 1.9.3 because itz the upcoming update
