Think forward smartass. Seems like you only think about the hackers, what would happen to the donators or the members who's cracked and they cannot afford themselves an premium account. However even though they can afford premium accounts, some of the biggest players on GC are using taken names and aXed doesn't have time to transfer ranks to new accounts, 1 rank transfer takes atleast 1 hour. Around 3000+ players would quit because of that, losing their friends who cannot join the game because the server is premium. I can already tell you that GC would never change to premium server, it would only destroy the server and aXed will end up closing the server and quit. I know one server who tried to change to premium from cracked and after the change everyone quit, the server just died. The owner realized he made a mistake and changed back to cracked. Right after he changed back to cracked everyone came back. It's also not that easy to change to premium. As Asy said on other threads that relates to this topic this would take a lot of work and update plugins. Don't think aXed will even think about changing to premium when GC is at risk (EULA - Blacklist). Changing GC to premium would be pointless. Not everyone can manage themselves premium accounts, even staff, even you.

You think changing to premium would make GC "better", well yes without hackers. but when you think about it, it would make GC worse and I wrote the reasons above and you can't disagree or avoid the truth

Sounds like they are demanding the server not be a cracked server to me.

aXed or his developer can create tools to help automate the process of transferring accounts or at least do it in batches reducing the time required dramatically. Back before the forums reset he even had a post talking about doing just that.

 

Idk about this . Transfering acc needs time and stuff . Automates it will have a issue where the transfer goes to the wrong player result complainments and etc like that

 

The only thing that would happen to gc when its premium is a huge downdraft (unless u have help from famous minecraft youtubers) . If u dont have that then dont even need to think about trying to make it to premium . Just like @KinqCake said , its pointless

Just make a premium account with the name of Fluxy. Your ranks and kits will still be there.

Shut the F up nub kid.What do u mean if "u can buy ranks u can buy prem" ? Mostly all the players here with ranks dont have paypal or credit card.The way they got ranks is by using ign stuffs for irl money.Everyones not rich like u to buy a prem like u.But I wont complain if aXed enables the option of using ign stuffs to buy outside GC stuffs like prem account,coz then others will be able to use it too.

We basically have half of the system, the main issue right now is that we have to create our own ban system that will support our name change plugin. It's gonna take a while but still planning on finishing it.

Since Mojang is "mainly " concerned with players having the same gaming experience as all players on the server I dont see HOW we can keep our ranks (called legacy or whatever) AND benefits from it in the future.
I mean we can call ourselves whatever we want (legend, god, titan bla bla bla) but final question is what about perks giving adventage. And adventage is all about what rank/perks/boosters are !

If the “kits and/or ranks and/or boosters" contain gameplay-affecting features they are not allowed . Gameplay balance is not relevant to the EULA. If the items included in the kit/rank are purely cosmetic, you can charge real money/hard currency.
But again, If ranks are cosmetic only (particles, hats etc etc) then they are NOT ranks we bought and they are Near-To-Useless.
B) if we can have them in some "grace period" to addopt and comply eula then again its not what we bought (lifetime). But what we need is straight answer on that.

Whats coming in future is kind of text like "With it being our latest release, we’ve made some changes for "put some commercial fancy name" which ensure the game is fair and enjoyable for everyone. We’ve decided to permanently remove "insert some feature like /fly" and many of the other perks existing ranked players had on before. Instead, we offer "insert some fancy words like Tons of new stuff/new amazing possibilities etc etc etc making your your game expirience unique and never seen before (add more bla bla thing)"
The types of perks will be determined by the level of enforcement that Mojang follows through on. Despite already expressed any personal views on the EULA.

Finally, there's no real good way of making everyone happy, there will probably be a couple people complaining no matter what. What I see here that one era came to the end and we should addapt or quit.

 

Mojang does not care about ranks, they care about selling ranks for hard currencies. You can have all your god and titan ranks giving what ever enhancements you want, they just don't want players to be able to buy them with irl money. Selling them for in game money or votes or whatever is still acceptable. They are also not demanding old ranks be removed or revoked so keeping legacy ranks with perks is acceptable they just want servers to not sell them from now on to avoid being on the blacklist.
