    Thank you aXed for making the improvements to help reduce the lag, even though I lost many good villagers, I'd rather be able to play more smoothly than to jolt and rubberband around.

    aXed did this for a reason. And that reason is not to troll players, it was to reduce lag. I think what would be fair is to give compensation to the players who lost their villagers by giving them spawn eggs. However, I don't think this should be restored to when the villagers were still alive.

    The villagers have been reduced from a max count of 29 per village to 8 per village. We are only asking for a max amount of 10 and for some players to get their eggs back.

    Our iron golem farm on survival
    Look guys. Me and my other 10 friends have all chipped in to buy about 200 villager eggs. We have designed an iron golem farm that makes a lot of iron. It's inspired by Mysterium's farm on factions.

    Faction farm and Survival farm
    Our farm on Surival only makes 1/4th of the iron of Mysterium's farm on factions. On survival our farm makes 500k a day. It's riduculous i know. But it's reasonable to say that the two farms produce about as much lag equally.

    I understand that people like Marine make money in a different way. And don't like new survival players surpassing them in baltop.

    Pay to win
    And before the argument of not being p2w is brought up. We have made a serious investment of 2 million igm from our donator perks (2 gods, 5 demigods, 2 legends, 1 elite and 4 heroes) into villager eggs and ig farms. We use the money the iron farm makes and help our members and friends get upgrades in the trade center on the forums.

    I don't see how GC is losing money here. As there will be more upgrades done through the trade center. Survival igm money currency is not being sold in the shop either.

    Maximum output
    Also we keep our iron farm design a secret. So it's not like the whole survival server knows how to make it. We have chosen the iron farm because it's the most efficient way to make money on Survival. If the iron farm gets nerfed then we will choose the next most efficient design. Which will result in more nerfs being implemented.

    Previous nerfs on factions
    I have seen this happen on factions. Our massive iron golem farm on factions was making millions a day. Iron golem spawners were removed and hoppers were reduced because of that. I agree with these nerfs. Because the more money we got, the more iron golem spawners we could buy.

    But i didn't agree with the redstone torch and the redstone clock nerfs.

    We've had a massive pumpkin farm as well (on factions). These pumpkins were traded for emeralds. Hence the low selling price of emeralds on factions and possibly survival.

    Massive farms

    I see how massive farms are not favorable for server lag. But the more nerfs are implemented, the bigger we have to make our farms in order to compensate for future loss of money.

    I don't want other players be the victim just because we (Hydra) make really big farms.

    Other methods
    Cactus farming is an easy and popular way to make money on factions. These cactus farms are often huge. And produce a lot entities and thus lag.

    Lag
    I see how big farms and a lot entities make a lot of lag. But that's not the real issue here. It's to prevent players who have not made serious donations on Guildcraft rising to the top. I can understand that. But I'd like to be told the real reasons for these nerfs. It's not only about the lag.
