Look the rule is "4. Scamming with IRL currency is not allowed, however we do not offer support to someone being scammed. Always use an admin trade when real life money is involved."

This means if I give you my shiz and you dont do the purchase (which i expect to happen) you will get banned but I prolly wont get my stuff back unless we use an admin. You would get perma ip banned regardless. I'm not willing to spend all those spawners just to get you banned. Just wait for an admin so we can both be safe.

Asking for less of a down payment but demanding we not use an admin does not make you look more legitimate. I would have provided 100% of items up front had you just been willing to go through an admin.

Being a nub account with no rank yourself but offering 20 euros does not make you look legitimate.

Violating other rules (shared account) does not make you look legitimate.

Demanding the trade be done in the next 5 minutes (because your mom will kick you off) and then remaining on for the next hour does not make you look legitimate.

I find it less than probable that someone with a mom who can kick him off the computer in the next five minutes would have a legitimate way of supplying euros.

I think there is a preponderance of evidence that this kid was scamming,

So can this kid get banned for IRL scamming even if I didn't give him my stuff? If he cant be banned for that could he at least be banned for sharing accounts? I can provide chat logs upon request.


My offer still stands, and I can add more, if anyone else happened to want to take it. I only need the 17.5 for kit cannon, the 100 mcmmo was just because I knew this scammer would agree to just about anything if he thought it would get him my items.

 

If you have proof that he has been sharing accounts recently you can take that proof to the "Report A Player" section of the forums. From there, copy the appropriate format and report it formally. As for the admin trade, it'd help if you tagged an appropriate admin to assist. If you're both still going to do it, tag an appropriate admin with @ in front of their name.
