As we all have seen and noticed, faction black is HARDLY played by 10-20 people per day. People often ask whats the difference between factions originals and factions black, and after we would explain the minor differences, they would go like "lol this is stupid" which, unfortunately is kinda of, stupid. [pls no get angry at me] I have an idea, to convert Factions Black to HardCoreFactions, in which your ranks/kits wont give you ANY advantage what so ever. You will have only one "/home" and there would be no '/warps' or '/spawn' or '/wild' command, which FORCES you to work for yourself and move around in groups and be prepared for attacks. TnT should still be enabled, however. There shall be no proper /shop but only a few villagers NPCs trading stuff. The only way to teleport around shall be "/f home" OR "/home". Players must farm/kill mobs for food and supplies. Players wont have any rank buffs, "private vaults" etc etc. Not even extra /home(s). This server would show how people can play without being "p2w"and playing 100% legit with pure hardwork, as on other servers, like factions original, Titans, start off with 750k$, "/kit titan" daily, and other crazy kits with 2400 donate coins and crazy buffs, like "/fly "/egg" etc etc. In HCF [HardCoreFactions] players would compete for survival, not for fun. I'm against the idea of Temp-Bans that are given to players who get killed or die. I think its a bit too harsh. Like if an enemy kills you, RIP your faction. If, Factions Black is reset-ed and nothing much is changed, I deeply doubt, it will have 50+ Daily players, so why not convert it into something new? Something challenging, Im sure will increase GC's popularity. Please do, drop your views/ideas regarding this thread. Thank-You.
One more point, Disable all misc. spawners, like creeper/iron golem spawners. Zombie, Skeleton, Blaze, Spider, Cave Spider spawners should still be enabled.
I agree with this, ranks give people the advantage of everything, even though I'm vip, This would be a challenge who loves faction with or without ranks.
This gamemode would cause intense rage. Possibly urging players to quit GC entirely. Now that is an assumption that has no evidence, mainly backed by opinions. It may just be me, but this kind of Factions doesn't seem interesting. There's no p2w, which is a lot of what Factions is about. In addition...These servers are alive due to the donations being made through ranks/etc. Making a server (a FACTIONS server) whilst excluding ranks and any other items found in the shop would be pointless in the minds of the network owner(s). I don't mean to hate on your idea, but I don't think it's an idea that would really benefit GuildCraft much. I mean, think about it this way superboy....Wouldn't you much rather have them spend this money that would be going into the server on a proxy server in Asia? There are more important/better ideas that could benefit GuildCraft than this one... Don't feel I'm trying to ruin any chances of this idea ever being implemented. First, GuildCraft earns enough amounts of cash, daily. People donate with love. Second, aXed straight off denied the idea of a proxy server in Asia Third, not all can donate to this server, majority of the players on the entiere GC-Network [75%] are [Member] ranked. I'm pretty sure they do want a server, where everyone can be equal. Pure Work, No Money.
No sorry, hardcore is not something for gc, I like fac black as in such, a reset would be great for it, thats all it prob needs with some new stuff.

In all honesty if you weren't apart of Exodus I would continue to argue your point. Instead I'll ask you a question: Why is it that you want this server? What about it do you find interesting and possibly fun to play. Why do your suggested requirements for this gamemode make sense, and how do they keep the game interesting?
How does behaving normally, and voting no for this suggestion co-relate? I can play factions pretty well, and I know what I'm talking about, but I've been on gc for quite a while, and i know the server would hardly have population, plus many of the players would've difficulty understanding it, and its mainly based on pvp, while guildcraft on a whole isn't....
I would love to have HCF, but literally no one here knows how to play it. Yes, not even you superboy. Your whole OP suggesting HCF on gc shows how little you know about it. You say "TNT should be enabled" in which case it is absolutely NOT HCF but is just nerfed factions. "You will also have one /home" this is also ridiculous. In HCF there is no raiding except by making a faction raidable by killing and lowering their DTR. If a player is in a solo faction, he needs to be killed twice (before his DTR regens after he logs on post deathban after 1st death) to go raidable so there is no need of /home. In HCF servers you set waypoints to a place and WALK there, so there's absolutely NO /home. And naturally if it's HCF, there's no need to say there should be no creeper/enderman spawners. All this is farmed in the end which is also a hotspot for PVP. (And in case you didn't know, you need to run to an end portal in one of the worlds quadrants by setting a waypoint there and not do a silly /warp theend). HCF would be really fun if only people know how to play it. I still +1 for HCF but as the name says "Hardcore" meaning you should be good at the game to survive which is why I don't think it will happen.
I don't see why it would cause intense rage. It is fun, and HCF maps being prot 1 or 2 makes gear not-so hard to get with an etable(anvil also), time for mining and some enchanting knowledge. Trapping and PvPing defines HCF, if you will rage at losing a mere set of easily acquired p1/p2 (which you wouldn't when you see how easy it is to get), HCF is not for you.
Trapping is an integral part of HCF. Without it HCF is not HCF. I didn't say anything against trapping.
Factions Black is less PTW than original, and it has hardly any players. I postulate that the core players donate (they pay) and expect rewards for there donations (to win). The core players like winning and will choose to play on game modes where they get more win for there pay not less. With out attracting the core players the game mode dies. I would speculate that if fac black became more PTW it would attract even more core players. Fac black lets ppl buy spawners degrading there ptw status. To compensate I offer that there should be /kit donatecoins on faction black. A donator would get 5 coins, vip 15, hero 25, elite 40, legend 70 demi 125, god 200, titan 350. Cool down 10 days. Also should be a mechanic that the kits require both a cool down in days and a second cool down in hours played so ppl cant farm kits so easily, say 1.5 hrs per day of cool down. @aXed

Go to the shop and check the perks of every single rank. Facs Original and Black have the same perks. So next time check before making random assumptions ... And Fac Original have spawners too btw.
Maybe a different server all together, because it's too wayward and new for the people.. In HCF you just hoard and intimidate your enemies among other things which is not the idea of Faction Black. Interesting suggestion nonetheless.

Fac black you cant fly and there is no mcmmo. So right there your proven false. Furthermore Fac Black sells all the spawners, I recently bought 70 zombie spawners because they are so cheap. In 16 hrs of afk you can get enough money to totally replace all the god dc. You cant deny that fac black is less pay to win than fac original.
