»set daily-restart to a later time

In a few weeks time today is maybe the 6th time that people can't connect to GC right after the daily restart. Ever since the new lobby got introduced GC has issues with the login process. (and voting is bugged since that)

Now we have to wait a few hours (maybe 4) for a Dutch operator/admin to address the issue, because at 6 AM Dutch time the people that can fix it are still sleeping.

My suggestion is to set the daily restart time to 10 AM Dutch time, so that would-be problems can be addressed immediately.

5th or 6th time yes that this happens right after the daily restart

There might be a specific reason why they do it on that time.

 

hmm now that you mention it i noticed this is the 3rd time i cant get back on after restart

 

ok Im from Asia, my time zone is SEATZ or southeast asian timezone. it's 12 noon. i checked on GC twice and the server doesnt let me go in..so is this what's happening right now?.

 

Yeah i'm sure there is a reason for the time...probably the least amount of players on which would be best if the need to keep it shut down for a bit to fix or upgrade something

 

I can go in, just not login cuz it tells me to register again but that does nothing

 

Sure, least amount of players around that time, but if anything fails... you'd need to wait 3-4 hours for the people that can fix it

 

I see your point nippy not disagreeing with you i think it is a very good suggestion.

 

+ 1 It should be more orientated towards the place where the server is run so that they can quicky fix it if needed

 

This thread helps a lot in informing people (including me) about the login issue, thanks. Hope it will get fixed soon; I want to play GuildCraft already. Nice suggestion though, time should be set where the main heads are so that this problem would be addressed to quickly.
