».legit Plugin (preventing hackers from joining the server)

I. Introduction
- Hi there,

- So as we all know, most of the hacked clients has the .legit command. Hackers can basically just type that in the chat to disable all of their hack and the command won't be showed up in the chat. Well, we can use that to implement in the Login server, so we can kick hackers out of our server!

II. How the plugin works
- When you join the server, after you have typed in your password, the server will ask you: Hey, welcome to the server! Please type in .legit in the chat as fast as possible in 5 seconds. If the player don't type that after login, they won't be able to choose any servers to play, they are just gonna stay in the lobby, pretty much kick those hackers out the server.
III. The end

Yes! Yes yes yes! I do hope this could be added but cant hackers just turn off their hacks beforw logging in the server?

Hackers will just disable their clients before joining and re-enamble them again when they're on the server they wanna hack on.
-1 It will also be annoying to write ".legit" everytime you join.

 

Most of the hackers are young kids, they don't have extensive knowledge about disabling hack. This plugin may help the server a little bit, as some hackers won't be able to join the server.

 

I mean would they know that theres a plugin like that ? xD

Because hackers can turn their hacks on after they did that "check". It really not needed, it's only annoying everytime you login doing that :/ Also 1 day ban is too much in my eyes.

 

typing .legit is much shorter then ur
/login password

 

This plugin benefits more than harms. Just think about amount of hackers you can 'kick' with this plugin, bruh. Changing amount of kicks needed for 1-day-ban to 2, it's pretty obvious if someone can't type .legit in chat.

 

umm why? I don't get this part. But still -1. Think of people who have crappy pcs or crappy internet... they join and they would absolutely afk for at least like 10 seconds or so...

 

Some ppl are laggy they wouldn't be able to speak right before 5 secs lol

 

Just as many clients have that command, there are more clients with " .say " command. So, yeah it is like asking someone to type " .help " in public chat. This is not 2013.

Why?because there is some people who can't write .legit fastly enough to actually login

Edit: plus what if your sister or brother just come into gc wanting to only banned you? And what if you typed it wrong?you will be banned for nothing right?

 

Ok, changing the plugin so that if you can't type .legit in chat, you won't be able to join servers instead of being kicked out of the server and then banned, I understand you guys now.

Guys, I change the post entirely to fit nicely to your suggestions, I recommended watching it again..

 

Logging in with a password is already annoying me (due to the kick when typed in wrong), and a .legit check would make it even worse.

I don't want the good and legit people have a bad login experience because of that small amount of hackers. The admins and our bansystem do a pretty good job so I would not like this to get added.

Admin do a pretty good job, yes, but Autoban not really (this is from many people's POV, not mine). That is because many people have been banned falsely by Autoban (this includes PizaCraft1, Idk if he is unbanned yet but still). So yeah, I sincerely bump this thread to reduce even more hackers who used Huzuni hacked client with a Trojan virus that can destroy their computer (too specific)
