Hello, I am posting this here to maybe get some help. I have been unable to play on the GuildCraft server for nearly a week. Every time I log onto the server I immediately fall through the world and get the error

"an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

This is the first time I have gotten this error, however I am able to play on other servers no problem, but GC is my favorite. This is truly disheartening being that I planned to upgrade to Hero, last Saturday.

Help would be appreciated, and if no help is available ill just move on.

Not sure if it matters but I do not play on a cracked client but a legit one.

I will check back here periodically, but will likely not respond due to me being at work.

As the error message shows itself, the connection is being disbanded from your connection, not our's, which is pretty strange considering you can join other servers normally. A lot of players have been having this issue lately, which is also extremely strange.

We can't specifically tell you what to do, you should be the one to figure this out. It could be your Internet, Firewall or the Anti-Virus itself.

Also, this thread should be in 'Help related questions' or 'Bugs/Glitches', but whatever.

 

Thank you for your reply. However I have disabled my firewall and antivirus and still have the same problem, so I have decided to move on to other servers .

You should make a post on the bug and help, but I think try using direct connect to join in, if it still doesn't work I'm pretty sure it's your internet.
