Hi, so as a lot of semi players know, semi has had glitching chunks, broken dupe glitches and bugs that were never fixed, so, im suggesting a whole new reset for semi. There shud be spawn plots this time, it'll attract alot more players. Im putting up a poll aswell for reset or not Also, if it resets, kits should be blocked for a while, not like last reset where a group of like 10 ppl went to end, got everything, scavenged the end then quit. Secondly, make claimblocks more expensive.. 25$ per claim block is like asking everyone to claim the whole overworld. Thirdly, make a more player-based economy with shop signs, etc. Fourthly, fix the redstone glitch xD Finally, make semi pvp 1.8, because 1.9 is really slow and isnt that enjoyable, but, keep the server at 1.9 Tagging all the staff and active players of semi. @CyrusTheVirus1 @cl0se5 @Jessicaaa808 @aelarmaly @Noblesword @jonsey @SKTtheTroller @Reznex @dm4uz3 @uwillloose @Swag_Fox @Houdei
I HATE resets. I'm probably one of the 10 richest on the server (counting all assets) and I hate losing stuff, my house, spawner claims, etc. Waste of hundreds of hours. That said, I think Semi is rekt. Chunks and generation are completely hosed. I have no problem playing on a rekt map, but I see why people don't like it, especially those who don't have /fly. - We need spawn plots with player shops. If you don't want spawn plots, add like 4 warps in the map corners (/warp N, S, E, W) with plots. /ah doesn't have enough space for all the things people need to trade. - If you're gonna reset, might as well generate it in 1.10 - The price of claimblocks should stay the same. - Staff needs to be larger and active. - Redstone should be unlocked and strict rules in place for misuse. Clocks, auto farms, chicken switches, BUDs, hopper timers, etc. should not be allowed, but should be monitored by staff, not by plugin. (Yes I know GC will never ban these, but it's my opinion). With MCEdit, WorldPainter, WorldEdit, or proper tool for the right version, it's totally possible to regen small or large parts of a map without resetting it. Just delete the chunks you don't want and new ones will generate. Or //regen. Easy. Many servers have custom tools written by their staff that will regen dead chunks after X time of inactivity. But I've never seen any GC server do that. Since that won't happen, I think a reset will be the answer.
