I think Guildcraft need more staff members because on other game modes theres only few staffs that are active and some game modes have really active staffs. We need more staff member because there is some hackers that do not get punished
Well, Currently the server wich needs Admins the most might be Factions, Since in Factions a Lot Of People Do Use Xray, While in Some Servers Like PotPvP/KitPvP Helpers/Mods Might be Needed to Punish With /mute and /warn People Who Hackuaste, since All Servers Contain Autoban System wich almoast everytimes bans someone who uses KillAura/ForceField. While The Biggest Hacking Communitie is on factions People Use ForceField/KillAura/Aimbot/Xray/ChestFinder and Many many more, While there is a lot of active Admins and Helpers on factions the server might need more to watch over it, especially the new Dudes wich join 1/3 Of Them At pvp uses Some kind of hack. So At some point i Do Agree With ur post but next time try to make a more detailed Post of what u really suggest, since a suggestion cant be written in 2 sentences. Recruiting staff members is not as easy as it may seem. A Moderator holds great power upon the people, power that could cause catastrophic consequences if not used correctly. That's why so many people get denied in the applications. Managing more than 8 staff members is not only difficult for the Head-Admin, but it also generates chaos. Only people that are appropriate for the job are approved. But I agree that GC is a big server and it generates a lot of chaos, so we would need more authorities. A good option to combat hacking would be to improve the Auto-Ban too. Humans can't work as efficiently as machines. Even if there were an army of staff members and we could somehow manage them properly, they can't moderate 24/7, they have lifes, jobs and responsibilities to accomplish, which are much more important than GC.
The Auto-Ban already punishes hackers to some extent, an extent that could be upgraded. The hardest part that the machine has is to recognize when someone is in fact doing something wrong, so much that even innocent people get banned by the Auto-Ban sometimes. Aside from hacking; flooding, swearing and advertising in general is still a great threat, a threat which is maybe impossible to stop on it's own by the Auto-Ban. Chat filters like caps, swearing and spamming can easily bypassed currently. That's where staff members are truly necessary.
There is a Thing Called AutoBan wich can detect hacks such as KillAura And SpeedHacks, but there can't be a plugin wich can do the mods work, Since Mods mainly are in charge of chat, they keep it clean wich no plugin can ever do, there can be a plugin wich could automute a person who does swear, but there are many more things to do to keep the chat clean + Some words contain swears in them like Someone could type " I assume that...) and Get Muted or might get muted by mistyping and Makeing a space between S and U in the word. So Only thing that can partly be managed by a Plugin is Things as PvP/Speed Hacks. Thats the reason there are many mods/helpers in every Server. And Adving/Caps can be easily bypassed, there are a lot of Anti Adv Plugins and anti spam/caps plugins, but most of them can easily be bypassed, so Mods/Helpers are definetly needed on Every server. ~Vojkea
I agree that we need more Admins, but I guess it is a pretty difficult decision to promote someone to Admin.
I think there was a suggestion about rewarding players for reporting hackers, it was quite a decent one if I remember correctly. But we kinda do already. Head-Admins do extensive research about someone before promoting to Admin, we can't risk promoting someone without knowing about them.
Y Not Test-Admin Like There Are On Factions It Seems Like @Tenderman Has Everything Sorted There Maybe He Should Be Introducing Those Into All Servers Test-Mods / Test -Admins
What if you guys hire staffs from other timezones? Like if it is night for the other and day for the other one? So atleast it will be like 15-20/7 ? Members really need to cooperate and help staffs and report them because theres like 1000-2000 players and like 10 staff? And 20% of them might be hackers which is 200-400? I think so im not sure because when i go to PotPvp It Just Bans like everyone 1-3 minutes it continuosly so i think Members should cooperate and staffs from different timezones

You need 30 posts. don't postfarm because admins will see. then you press "support" and then "applications". you can't apply without 30 posts
