yeah there are ways you can build bases to be chorus fruit proof.

me personally, I couldent care less if it stays or goes.

if needed I will just build past its implications.

 

I think it should get nerfed too , ofc as @tbi said there is ways to protect our bases but that's not the point of semivanilla , That's faction. We gunna end up with regen walls and obby layers all around. Certainly chorus is fun but a player builds a base to be safe in it , just a little nerf wouldnt be too bad. ALSO BRING BACK THE NETHER WE WANT QUARTZ FOR LESS THAN 5K A STACK

tbh my response to the whole chorus fruit issue was to build a lava fence for my guardian spawner, soon as the servers back up im gona finish it.

I will be able to turn it on and off at the push of a button.

If you pay a closer attention to to a chorus guide , the chorus fruit will tp you 8 blocks in any direction , including up and down . That being said , U will need 8 blocks layered with lava all around your claim ( claimblock waste ) , and all digged down to bedrock to prevent caving underneath and tping up. Or just repeaters/trapdoors on the floor , which is not completly pretty or cheap , without mentionning the time and effort used to do so , which isnt the point of a server where farming/building are the maingoals.

 

well I have a net of dispensors that drop lava over my 25 chunk guardian farm layout, the way I see it... if that wont prevent ppl from getting in nothing will.

if anything people will end up teleporting into one of the slime farms or a region where they really cannot do any damage.

I also suspect upside down half slabs might prevent people from using chorus fruit to teleport into areas too, but thats just a theory tho.

 

Incase you don't know yet, @aXed made it so you don't get teleported when you use the fruit if you don't have /trust on that claim. So getting into bases using them is now impossible.

 

aXed answered to WAR's bug report it's fixed now. It was obvious it would get nerfed thou even if other staff says no .
